“I wanted to leave you a review because I was at your store. Today there is a gentleman that you've just hired in the last 2 weeks. It was outside getting the plants out anything he could do to help. I just wanted to make sure you are aware that you have the best employee in this person. I didn't get his name, but he was always wanting to see how he could help you. He took the things out of the plants to go inside to get a price for me when I came out he saw I had my cart.I was walking back to put it back up.He came to meet me to get it great-great employee.It's hard to find good employees and most of them Don't Want To do anything.So I just wanted you to be aware that he is a very very great hire for you. I wish there were more people like him in every store you shop”
“I am a Dollar General manager from NC. I stopped to use the restroom. I have to say I am very impressed with this store. Very clean, and stocked. I have a great store myself so I know what it takes to have a store that clean and stocked.”
“This is a great store in a pretty decent location. However, what is up with the parking lot? Getting to the parking lot off of 58 is ridiculous. You have to go all the way around the building down this wonky road to park. Whoever thought of that should have rethought it...”
“The absolute best employees Lisa and Kay are keeping that place stocked and clean. I met these two ladies when the store opened and they have never had a bad attitude or complaining. Love this place.”
“This is a pretty good DG. It is a newer store that is standalone so it is about as big as they get. It's clean, spacious and relatively well kept. There is a fair bit of clutter but it is manageable. This is also the darkest Dollar General I've been into. So strangely dim inside. Otherwise, service is good and the place is in a nice location on Rte. 221 adjacent to Rte. 100.”
“Good except the manger tall guy accused my 17 year old niece of stealing the cops came searched her an found nothing but what she paid for proved she didn't steal an never would then the man never apologized or nothing for being wrong very rude an immature for sure”
“This is an okay/above average store. It's relatively small so it is tightly packed, and I mean TIGHTLY packed inside. However, it is rather clean and organized with just some clutter here and there. It's well stocked, and the staff are friendly!

“Fancy Gap, Virginia store is cleanest and most organized Dollar General I have shopped in years. Well stocked with great inventory. No stacks of merchandise on floor, no haphazard placement of unwanted items. I saw three employees diligently working to stock, straighten and help customers. Employees were dressed nice, articulate, and didn't give off angry vibes.
Upstate SC Dollar General managers could learn from this store and probably increase their revenues. Thanks for great experience.”
