Motel 6 Fredericksburg VA - North is a reasonable, non-fussy lodging just off the highway. It is an older motel, but the rooms are clean, well-maintained, bug-free, quiet, and spotless. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning blows cold. The establishment is well-run with attentive and friendly staff, and management is very nice, always available, and responsive to guest needs. The location is prime, right off I-95, with a nearby shopping center lined with stores, gas stations, and restaurants, offering easy access and walkability. Facilities include a laundry room on site and vending machines. While some rooms need an upgrade and lack amenities like a coffee pot, shampoo, or hairdryer, coffee is available in the office. It is considered a safe location with routine police rounds. For the price, it offers exceptional value and is a delightful place to stay, with many guests stating they would stay again or return.
There was a cockroach in the bathroom, the sheets were itchy, the door didnt close properly. The service was ok, not the best.

We see small roaches about once a week. We have been here for 90 days. Staff are friendly. Management is decent. Getting fresh bedding for long term stays is a pain in the ass. It's a roof over your head while you're transitioning unhoused in the area.
