“As it happens all too often CVS sent a text my rx is ready for pick up. I go the next morning and they are out and it’s something very important. It might be in tomorrow or the next day (Friday). I can’t go that long not taking my diabetes meds so I checked food city. They got my rx from cvs and had me on my way in short order without those stupid long CVS lines and excuses. A++++”
“I seriously do not know what the low scores are about. Went to Urgent Care, they gave me Rx, went to Bo (my own Rx) then Walmart. Pharmacy people were busy, I waited, lady said it'll be a sec. Was greeted properly, gave my info, said it was ready. Counter person asked about reactions to medicine and asked if I wanted to get txt.
All very nice, no probs . . .”

“They might take a longer to fill your prescriptions then most pharmacies but its still a timely manner. The drive thru is almost always backed up but they try to move it along quickly. The staff is nice and easy to deal with. I love the coupons the app has all the time for 4$ & 3$ off that you can use together. Most the time I get items almost free.. Overall I think they have improved alot over the years.”
“I’ve went to CVS and a bunch of other pharmacies and they were all rude. But the people in Walgreens was sweet and fast. Finally a good pharmacy I can rely on.”

“I've visited this Food City in Galax, Virginia, a few times over the years. It's an older store, situated along route 58. It was well spaced and super clean with a lot of spacious aisles and jam packed with food and merchandise and super nicely presented as well. The store stands by itself in a parking lot that is pretty huge. They have also somewhat recently renovated in the deli area.
Overall, it's a great store with pretty good prices and lovely staff. You should definitely check this grocery store out if you're in the area.”
