I would like to tell you about Genworth life insurance. We have sent them over 24 documents for ACH changes, address changes, and Power of Attorney. Every single time I call, there's a problem. Oh, we didn't RECEIVE this form or that form, when I have PROOF it was delivered. My husband, who is deaf, and I am his poa, recently, have been trying to get a payment straight that they sent back. They are up to charging us $665 a month for payment. I've sent them 5 ACH changes, and 4 copies of my power of attorney. They tell me today, The last poa form was dated October of 2022. I said I am looking at the last 3 I've sent you and I have proof you got it! WHY I the WORLD do ypu think I'd date something in 2025, for 2022? They WANT older policy holders to get fed up so they'll cancel the policy and that is EXACTLY what we're going to do. We have 300,000 with them, but I'd rather have 50,000 to take care of final expenses than to deal with this BULLSHIT any longer. This is what happens when you get older. So, if I were you, and thinking of getting a life insurance policy, Genworth would be THE LAST COMPANY I would get involved with. Go with a company like Mutual of Omaha, or AIG, or some company that won't SCREW YOU because we have been ROYALLY SCREWED BY GENWORTH LIFE. They are not reliable and have people with less than a high school education answering their phones. They can't answer simple questions. It's pathetic

Today, I had a terrible experience with TWENTY FOUR SEVEN TOWING AND RECOVERY LLC. in Fredericksburg, VA, I accidentally locked my keys inside my vehicle at the CITGO gas station on Richmond Highway and asked an employee if he could contact AAA for assistance. When the tow truck arrived, I asked the driver if he was with AAA, and he responded that he was an affiliate.
I specifically asked because I have a AAA Gold Membership, which covers services under certain conditions without additional charges. Gavin, the tow truck driver, unlocked my car window and retrieved my keys. Afterwards, he informed me there would be a $285 fee. At no point during our initial conversation did he mention any charges.
He then instructed me to call his boss, Brandon. When I spoke with Brandon, he claimed I could submit the receipt to AAA for reimbursement. However, after contacting AAA directly, they informed me that this was not accurate. They also explained I would need a rate sheet from the towing company to even attempt reimbursement.
I made several attempts to call Brandon again, leaving messages with no response, and eventually found that he had blocked my number.
I believe this company scammed me for several reasons:
They falsely claimed to be affiliated with AAA.
They refused to provide a rate card necessary for reimbursement.
They acted very unprofessionally throughout the entire process.
I will continue to take steps to report and warn others about this HORRIBLE company.
Gavan's behavior displayed guilt; after collecting the payment, he parked in the McDonald's parking lot without making any purchase. He then circled back down Richmond Highway, glancing toward the gas station, before finally turning onto a side street to leave the area.
I was born and raised in Fredericksburg, VA and I have never experienced a company so unethical.

Try to report a business about possible scams and they don't do nothing but tell you you have to have a product from a business and that's the only way they can do anything so the Better Business Bureau is like CNN they have news in their name but they do not report on news they're entertainment so the Better Business Bureau is more like entertainment for idiots like me that thought they were going to do something

In doing so I met with the staff running the office and they were all wonderful! My guide was phenomenal and everyone made me feel welcome. They were professional, encouraging, and engaging. I am looking forward to getting my second business accredited.

Fake complaint was filed and BBB did nothing to disprove or remove complaint until Company did a conference call with them and involved parties and person filling admitted to false claims ! No way to respond to BBB posted emails - what a joke of an outfit ! Atleast make responding available as we are here to correct any issues if we have been incorrect in our work .
