I’ve sold and bought here and it’s always awesome! I’ve found some of my new favorite pieces here, plus I made some money off some stuff I have been meaning to get rid of. Cleaned out my closet and switch up my style, it rocked. I rec this location to anyone tbh, it rocks, I love to come shop w my friends!

I usually love shopping at this location but had a horrible experience this time. I spent $114 on a few items on Black Friday. Upon arriving home I checked all of my items and realized one of the most expensive items I bought was missing. I checked my car and bag that was given to me for free from the store but could not locate item. I called the store to ask and see what could be done because I had all the items from my receipt but this one item. Store associate stated she would check with her manager and give me a call back. I was called back within 48 hours in which the store associate stated the cameras were checked and nothing seemed to be left so it was nothing they could do. I believe the associate most likely forgot to hand me the item due to store nor me having a bag to take items in once I left the store. I’m highly upset because I spent over $100 and don’t have the main item I wanted in my possession or nothing to replace item. I’m literally a regular at this store and practically sell and buy every weekend. Horrible customer service and I will no longer shop at this store.

Don't bother bringing any womens clothing to this store unless it can pass for a medium or smaller. I watched as the girl behind the counter "assesed" the clothing and all she did was look at tag size and never inspected the actual item itself. I brought name brand clothing with tags still on that would be flattering on any young woman who is full thickness and/or has a larger bust size than her friends the same age but I was told these items dont fit within the demographics for this particular store. It's a shame that we are still dealing with this kind of body image problem these days.

Offered $4 for an outfit that isn’t even a year old and was $30 lmao. They have little girls working here and need other employees who know what they’re doing, the old employees were better

As a buyer, this store is cleaner than the other area Plato’s stores. The selection has dropped in quality to so-so, but the pricing is decent. As a seller, don’t bother. Within 5 minutes of checking in, I got a text that my buy was done. I asked an employee and got the usual lame lie that PC locations give when they don’t purchase. Brands they don’t buy, items that don’t sell, older than 12 months. All of which are false. They had every brand I brought in with mostly similar styles. Nothing was more than a few months old. I’m going to stick to selling in the city and online.

Don't bother selling here, I watched the girl chat with her friend while not even looking at the clothes and just shoving them back in my bags. They passed on kylie swimsuit new with tags, new lulu leggings, tons of brand name men's clothes and picked out a tee shirt from five below to buy. the shopping experience is worse, it's so unorganized and everything is shein and stained. Go down the road to uptown cheapskate for all your needs. the girls working here are terrible at their jobs and have such snobby attitudes.

Went in on 2/6/23 in the evening. There was a girl in a blue sweatshirt working there that was beyond rude. Brought in bags of clothes and she said for me she would "put on her nice voice" after rolling her eyes at me walking in. In general, most of the employees there are unfriendly. There was not one person that said hello when I walked in, just the girl that turned to her coworker annoyed I was there and went from her regular 'annoyed with customer' voice to a fake annoyed 'nice' voice to attend to me. Plato''s Closet must really hate their customers. Snotty attitudes selling used clothing. Repeat: used clothing. Saks has nicer employees.

I dropped off my stuff and they gave me like $30 money for about $500 worth of stuff, then as I was trying to get my cash and leave, the machines broke down. Never coming back.

At the gym and I forgot to pack a sweatshirt. Remembered Plato’s Closet , found a new one with tags still on it for $8, back to gym in 5 minutes. When I clean out my closets for the spring , I will pack up a bunch to sell to Plato’s , now that I know.

What Karlyn Maggi said. Five months later, and these folks are STILL "having a bad day".This was probably my worst experience in any Plato's Closet, ever.Shout-out to the (only) 2 nice normal people, who let me into the dressing room and rang me up. You both work with some seriously catty and hateful people, and I hope you get some better coworkers soon.

They tried to give me $26 for 3 BRAND NEW ITEMS THAT THEY HAD TO TAKE OUT OF THE PACKAGING. 1 Sweater, 1 coat, and a pair of jeans. All items total were worth OVER $200. I gave it to a homeless person nearby. THE NERVE! You’re better off selling your items on offer up. You will wayyy get more for your nice items.

From a shoppers perspective, this place is not great. The place is full of Shein / Fashion Nova / Fast fashion. But it is not discounted. You could buy the same items brand new for the same price. I saw a sweatshirt from target priced at $15, but I have the same one brand new for $12.From a sellers perspective, it is also not great. I brought in several bags of items (coats, shoes, purses, jeans, etc, all brand name). I didn’t expect a lot, maybe $2-3 per item. However, they did not take a majority of the items.Long story short, don’t waste your time here. You will end up disappointed
