The location on Mercury Blvd. is extremely filthy. I am from Hampton and for years its been going downhill. For years there are always boxes of what Im assuming are supplies to be placed on the shelf… but the shelves still be empty! Last Sunday, I went in there and it was the worse I ever witnessed. Of course the boxes are all in the way, numerous shelves still empty, months of grime, spills, leaks, dirt & the unknown throughout the floor. The store had a nerve to have a wet floor sign up that looked like it been there since the spill was fresh but again this looked like months of nastiness. Walking in, it smelled like old wet boxes. I feel for homeless or people in need but every time I even drive past the place, there are extremely dirty looking people sitting on the ground in front of the store. And yes… whenever I go in, I give money to them to help but at the same time, it makes the business look 10x worse. The way it looks in the outside, is how it looks on the inside. I just left the one on Warwick and it was night and day! It is very cleaned, employees and managers look clean and friendly, no homeless people sitting on the outside. In my opinion, the Mercury store needs to be shut down. It look like you can catch a disease just walking in that location 🤢

there’s someone secretly scanning cheetos with peoples purchases at the register. Happened to me and the person before me 4/14/24. Didn’t realize until i got to my destination after leaving. Do better. Have receipts and y’all can check yall own cameras.

What i don't unbranded is how y'all know the business phone been broke over a month, why hasn't it been fixed yet? If that cause me to call another store in this store district about my problem with this store why isn't it honored? Why you got an employee like telling her coworker what to do since she off the clock but then walk outside and call the manager? Why is this employee working and making decisions off the click? I'm glad she learned i in not one of the CUSTOMERS she going to talk to disrespectively, which she shouldn't be doing anyway. So somebody definitely need to talk with her about her mouth and customer service skills as an employee.

Stood for at least a few minutes waiting for someone, anyone to come to the register, the young lady final came up. Talking like idk what, didn't apologize nothing, just started ringing me up. Nasty attitude wasn't getting my hard earned money today. I'm so tired of being the responsible one when someone momma need to train these people before you put them in their world.

I found what I was looking for and I found it. I ran out of pet waste baggie and I happen to be at the right place and the right time. Dollar General is right down the street from soap and suds on West Mercury in Hampton
