“I enjoy going to the Walmart Port road pharmacy nice people. But whenever there's no prescription left on the bottle the doctors want us to go into the pharmacy and they email the doctor. The person helping me looks at me and says there's no refills on here. I think they should just take the bottle and send the email.. I mean people would know if there's no refill. That's just something to maybe help thanks”

There's a mix of different tiers of product, and the pharmacy is top notch; use the drive thru, the pharmacist themselves might serve you there. “After a few years of what many considered to be the worst pharmacy in Harrisonburg, I must say that over the past several months it has become our favorite again! My future spouse, who had transferred most of his numerous scrips to Walmart, for better service, recently transferred them back to Kroger. The line of disgruntled customers has disappeared; prescriptions are ready as promised; and the pharmacists and techs are caring, knowledgeable, trustworthy and polite.”

“While out of town for work, I needed an emergency prescription filled. My provider sent it to this Walgreens location, and although the medication wasn’t in stock initially, the staff quickly ordered it and had it ready for me the next day. I stopped by in person to confirm, and I’m glad I did—the hours posted on the door were a bit off, but the team kindly let me know exactly when to return.
Everyone I interacted with was kind and helpful, but I want to give a special shoutout to Curtis. He was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure I felt taken care of from start to finish. He mentioned that this location isn’t the biggest Walgreens, and apologized for the temporary stock issue, but I assured him that what they may lack in size, they more than make up for in service. Hands down, the friendliest Walgreens I’ve ever visited. Thank you again to Curtis and the team!”

“I've been going to this CVS location for years without any kind of problem. Over the weekend there was some kind of computer-related issue involving a discrepancy between the CVS system and my insurance- no human errors, just some odd hiccup that prevented insurance from covering a prescription. So I had to correspond with both insurance and CVS via phone throughout the day and they were able to fix it. Originally they thought it might take a few days but instead it only took a few hours.
Before it was known there could be a speedy fix, the pharmacist had applied a discount and was doing everything she could on her end, so even if things hadn't gotten worked out so quickly I still would have been in good hands. I definitely appreciate everyone's attention and hard work!”

“This is the only CVS in Harrisonburg worth visiting. Staff are attentive, all of their services work. Dang if that isn't the gold standard. I appreciate it anyway... Maybe spoke too soon. Self check out is a broken concept. If an employee has to help with every transaction... Why the hell do we even have self checkout. The staff is good here. Positive... Trying to be positive.”

“Medicap rocks! If you need compounded medication for your pets, these folks aren't just filling prescriptions, they care. The pharmacist was concerned with how my old dog was responding to the medication and wanted to be sure she was comfortable and offered multiple ways to make that happen. Exceptional customer service and care for animals.”
