Urban Exchange is downtown Harrisonburg’s largest residential community, offering a selection of studio, one, two, and three bedroom apartments. It is a relatively newly renovated complex, well-maintained and not too pricey, providing a great place to live. Amenities are plentiful and modern, including a fitness center with a view, a library lounge, secure underground parking, an electric car plug-in, and a landscaped courtyard. The location is super close to just about everything, very convenient to both downtown and the university campus, with shops, loads of food, coffee, bike shops, and the farmers market nearby. Management and maintenance are great and responsive. The biggest problem is with visitor parking, as there are very few designated spaces, which can be difficult for guests. Overall, it is a great experience for students and non-students alike.
I lived here for 4 years and never had any problems. Management and Maintenance were great and always responded quickly. Erica is very nice and accommodating. Just be a good tenant, pay on time, and you won’t have any problems.

Great place to live and super close to just about everything. Shops loads of food and the farmers market absolutely genius.

I have had a great experience with Urban Exchange so far! I love the location, staff, and community. It is a close walk to campus and very close to all the downtown shops/restaurants.
