Today (Sunday afternoon) the store was super busy and the register lines were long. The manager on duty, Brittany, had to come over and assist. She was extremely patient, kind and helpful with taking care of my returns. Thank you! Wonderful customer service!

Poor customer experience. I don’t look like your typical “rich” blonde clientele and was treated poorly due to it, was ready to spend so much due to this being nostalgic for me as I used to shop here in high school. The clothing is expensive but quality. You’re better off just trying on clothes and taking advantage to online sales.

Staff and customers stay overwhelmed at the DMV core speed of checking out. It doesn't matter how cute the store is or how amazing staff is if the owner isn't staffing more for faster checkout. I'll shop Shein before I spend 45 minutes in a line again. Customers AND staff deserve a better process. This was a horrible impression of the brand frankly.

Precious was super sweet & helpful. The credit card machines had gone down, yet she maintained her composure while still continuing to help my mom, sister, & I. Gorgeous selections, & great prices.

I visited Altar’d State for a last-minute event and was initially overwhelmed, but the staff's kindness made all the difference. Michael at checkout stood out for his exceptional customer service. I’m really thankful for their support during my shopping experience.

It is a very nice store, the detail of the water fountain in the changing rooms really brings calm to the environment, it gives you that oasis feeling, I loved it. Just what you need when trying on all the clothes :) After measuring a lot of clothes, none of which fit, I ended up taking a bow for my head, even so the girls were still very friendly, especially Amanda and Janine or Jamie (please forgive me if I wrote it wrong), I felt very comfortable, I had entered other times but thanks to the staff yesterday, the shopping experience in the store was very pleasant. I will be back :)

Has any other person of color gets followed to the front of the store while shopping; while being stared at by an employee? Yesterday was the first time I have ever been uncomfortable in a store or walking out of the store. As I was at the front of the store shopping an employee stood behind and gave me the most uncomfortable stare. Not asking if me and my friend needed assistance.
As we walked out the staring continued. My friend turned around while i stood outside of the store and asked “is everything okay? You’re staring at us. “. The employee then followed up by saying “I’m just doing my job and making sure no one is stealing “
This was the most (and only) disturbing / uncomfortable experience I’ve had while retail shopping. I am very disappointed and bothered by the employee (who also was wearing WAY too much eyeliner)!
When we walked completely away from the store she was gone from the front attending to other costumers. However, me and my friend got absolutely no help from not even a “can I help” or “have a nice day” when we left…

I really like this store overall but the staff here was super helpful with my shopping experience, so the staff stood out to me. Large spacious dressing room. Took my clothes from me and started a room for me. Helped me with my sizes and to find things for me.Loved the outfits I got and love that it is a Christian store with cute mugs and sayings for Christians and anyone else!

For a Christian oriented company, the apparel that is sold here tends to "keep up with the times" and show more skin than a Christian company should. If they stand for Christian beliefs and principals, they should sell clothes that reflect them.

Really disappointed that the sales team here allowed men to linger in the dressing room while young ladies were trying on attire. Even tho his significant other was one, as a conservative Christian based store, why would this be allowed? No men should be in a women’s dressing room. Terrible as my 16 year old was terribly uncomfortable. I said something which was ignored…and yet I’m the one who made a purchase supporting the store, not his girlfriend.
