Lidl is a popular grocery store known for offering high-quality products at low prices. Since 1973, it has operated around 11,200 stores in 32 countries and opened its first U.S. stores in 2017. The store features a good selection of local produce, fresh meats and seafood, imported cheeses, and European pastries, often at prices that seem too good to be true. Customers appreciate the low prices and the less chaotic shopping experience compared to other stores like Kroger and Publix. While the store is small with limited selection due to its size, it offers many store-brand items and a few standout products, such as bagged black tea. Some reviews highlight the effort to maintain quality, though others note issues like outdoor plants needing watering. Overall, Lidl is seen as a reliable, budget-friendly option for grocery shopping with a focus on quality and value.
