Up until this past week I've had good experiences. Apparently it's my turn to have a terrible one. I called on Monday 2/17/25 to request a refill of my pets medications for Pain and severe acid reflux. There was ample time to refill before running out. I spoke to a woman who stated she would take care of that for me. 20 minutes later I received a text stating I was out of refills and your business would contact my vet. I called back as I work for said vet and spoke with a man who checked and verified no refill on file. That was fine however maybe tell the person when you're speaking with them none is available. I then spoke with one of our vet tech's who spoke with the doctor on Tuesday 2/18/25 and approved refills. That tech then called and provided you with refills Tuesday 2/18/25. I then called a few hours later on that same day to make sure you received it since it is sometimes left on the voicemail. I was assured by the same person I spoke with on Monday (female) that you had the request and would take care of it. By Friday I had not heard from you and because I work 2 jobs, I didn't realize you had closed. I left a detailed message asking for a call back the following Monday. That would be today. I never got a text confirming you were working on my scripts as I normally do, nor did I get a phone call. I called around 5:50. (I do realized this is close to your closing time). I went through the automated system which kept stating I was next in line for a full 10 minutes before flipping my call into the voicemail que. It may be an automated thing as so many are, however the fact remains it has been almost a full week and I still don't have the medication my dog NEEDS!!!! I left another message and given the circumstances I'd consider the fact I kept my cool a miracle. Should I get this resolved tomorrow then I'll update my review. Honestly I don't think anybody cares however this is the only thing I can do currently to voice my anger, stress and concern.
2/25/25 Update. Called and spoke with a pharmacist who stated she never received a request for the refill. After discussing how utterly confusing this was I reiterated that I need my dogs meds and at this point I'm almost completely out. I still honestly don't know who dropped the ball, just that is was dropped.........the pharmacist took ownership of the issue and made the compounded medications as promised. They were delivered same day. I'm still super frustrated as to why this occurred and unsure if I can trust this won't happen again, however I'm willing to give it a try next time, maybe with a 2 week notice and perhaps going in person to assure I know who I'm speaking with and getting some sort of confirmation. I've changed from a one to three stars because ultimately I have the medication, however the fact remains there is something seriously wrong with the process and needs to be corrected.

I have been trying to get a response from the Chester location of Rx3 Pharmacy since December 19th, but no one will answer the phone, return voicemails, or respond to text messages or emails. I did receive an email from a virtual pharmacist, but she said she couldn’t assist me—leaving me wondering why she even responded.
This experience has been deeply disappointing, especially since my previous interactions with Rx3 were wonderful. I had recommended the pharmacy to others and reassured them to ignore the negative reviews because I had never experienced those issues. Unfortunately, I now find myself dealing with exactly what others described: poor communication and an inability to get answers.
I have been without my medication for almost two weeks. My nurse practitioner informed me they spoke with someone named Maria, who claimed they were working on my prescription, but it’s still showing as “on hold.”
While the Short Pump location was polite and answered my call, they couldn’t explain why the Chester location wasn’t responding. Their customer service left a much better impression, but it doesn’t resolve the lack of support from Chester.
I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated, as this experience stands in stark contrast to the exceptional service I previously received. Rx3 Pharmacy, please address these communication and operational issues.

They filled my RX in a timely manner. Nothing to brag about and nothing to criticize.

Picked up a prescription that was a frozen liquid. Get it home and start to thaw in refrigerator and I note a lot of condensation all over my fridge. I suspect the bottle is leaking so I put it in a bowl overnight. As it thaws more, it's very clear the bottle is leaking. Husband calls and RX3 says they'll remake it. I call the following day to check on status and they have no notes about this but they say they have it available and can send to Short Pump for pickup tomorrow. Fine. I get an email that my FSA card is charged AGAIN for an Rx they messed up. Which is overpriced to begin with. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes to speak to a manager, they agree to refund the duplicate charge. Just a bunch of time and energy I don't have spent on what should have been a simple thing.

The employees have been very polite but repeatedly when my vet sends in our script, they say they didn't receive it. It usually takes at least 2 tries. So for example, this time the vet faxed it in on Tuesday. I hadn't received word by Thursday morning (his meds expired on Saturday) so I asked the vet to fax again Thursday morning. Which they did and I got a text indicating that RX3 received it. Another text Friday asking when I wanted it which I had hoped for Friday. Then Monday morning they said they never received the one on Tuesday. I would give them the benefit of the doubt but this has happened to my vet multiple times now and my vet insists they've done it. They're a fantastic practice. It's also a minimum pay no matter what and that kinda sucks when you're getting meds for a 1 pound animal. And I have also received conflicting care info for the meds themselves. Funny enough the person who gave me the conflicting info was the most helpful of all but I haven't seen her since. I know they're short staffed and I appreciate their help but I wish there were more compounding pharmacies to choose from.

I waited 5 days for their call, no call. I called, texted, and emailed several times, no response. Finally after 11 days I made contact and will pickup tomorrow. They texted me asking me to call but the number was invalid. The West Broad location however, did answer my calls but couldn't help. They must not have much competition. So sorry.

Found this shop when shopping around for meds not covered by my insurance. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a little off the beaten path, but well worth it. No where else came close to their price for what I specifically needed, but that might vary for different meds. If you are looking to pay out of pocket, you should check them out, more than likely they will save you some money!

Been using them for over a year and I have been very impressed with their service. Great to work with, and even helped me by rushing a prescription when I accidentally waited too long to call in the medicine. They always get the prescription ready before the required 48 hours, and they're always pleasant to deal with. I really like them. Very satisfied customer...

Not impressed at all.My vet suggested them bc they are a mile from our home but when I called I was hung up on.They also never called to say when the prescription was ready.I called again and did get a very nice gentleman on the phone named David. When I went in person to pick up the prescription this really flighty, rude woman waited on me.She was all about herself. Not going back for anything.Bad vibes.
