“My kids have been at Happy Hearts for the past two years, and we’ve had a great experience. My daughter attends before and after school care, and my son was in the 3’s and 4’s program—he just graduated from Pre-K this year! He’s gained strong social and academic skills and is more than ready for kindergarten. The teachers are warm, caring, and welcoming. My children love it here!”

“This school is amazing. Our son was here from infant to two years old before we moved. They treated him and us like family, and they helped raise our son to be a moral kid, with a great attitude that is kind to others. Beyond that, he is advanced now in his learning and knows two languages going into years old. I highly recommend this school to everyone! Exceptional people that have high moral standards for themselves and our child!”

“I've seen a noticeable improvement in my child's language development, social skills, and problem-solving abilities since starting daycare. The daycare maintains a clean and organized environment, and they take extra precautions with safety and hygiene.
The daycare uses an app to share photos and updates, so I can see what my child is doing throughout the day. My child loves going to daycare and I can see the positive impact it has on my child’s development. The teachers are knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to answer my questions. We would highly recommend this daycare to other parents.”

“Sending your child off to a daycare can be a daunting task. Wondering how your child will adapt to the new environment, and leaving your child with someone they do not know can be the most scariest part of it all. I immediately felt that my children were safe and cared for at this Kinder Care.I have three sons that began going to Kinder Care this past summer. The summer program offered an array of events for the children each week, that included field trips! The most loved snow cone truck was also there throughout the summer! While my older two settled right in, my younger son was having some issues settling in. The staff at Kinder Care continued to be patient with him and work with us even into his transition to before and after care at school.I can not thank Mr.Sam enough for his continued support and nurturing advocacy. He takes time to speak with my husband and I each time we come in. Making us feel as though our children mean more than just a number to the facility. Also, the amazing support staff needs a lot of praises as well! All of the staff have been diligent and caring!I would recommended this Kinder Care a thousand times over to any parent looking for childcare needs!”

“I would definitely recommend Grandma's Preschool and Daycare to anyone looking for a caring and educational home daycare experience. Both of our children attended for two years, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and support they received. I wish we had found them earlier when we were first exploring home daycare! It has been great working with their whole family and being able to see first hand the passion they have for their work.

When our oldest first started, his speech was behind for his age, and he was very shy around other children and adults. Within just a couple of months, we noticed a significant improvement in his speech, and over time, we saw him become more confident and comfortable socializing with his peers. One thing we really appreciated was that Ms Shelem conducts regular parent conferences where she shares age-appropriate developmental milestones and gives us the opportunity to voice any concerns. These conversations were incredibly helpful in understanding our child’s progress and how we could support him at home.

They’ve also gone above and beyond when extra support was needed. They helped us through a period where our son needed to wear an eye patch for two hours a day—something that could have been a nuisance or disruption to the routine, but they handled it with ease and care. Potty training was another area where we really appreciated their support and patience, especially since it’s been a longer process for us.

Another big plus for me is how involved I felt while they were there. Each year, they host events like a Thanksgiving lunch, trick-or-treating, Easter egg hunts, and graduation ceremonies where families are invited to join. I like being able to see how my kids interact with the other kids and teachers, and this offers a peek into their daily experience and interactions that we would normally not be privy to. Ms. Shelem also went above and beyond taking pictures on a daily basis and uploading them into a shared album. It's comforting to see what kinds of activities they work on and gives a chance to bring it up with the kids when they are home.

Lastly, I feel they’ve done a fantastic job preparing our children for kindergarten. They encourage independence in both self-care and early academics, helping our kids gain the confidence and skills they need for a smooth transition to school.

We are very grateful for everything this daycare has provided for our kids and are sad to be leaving!”

“I was referred to HUMC Preschool by a friend and I am so grateful. Both of my children loved going. It was their first experience away from home and such a blessing! We reminisce about their teachers and how much fun they had. I was also lucky enough to work at the school last year and got to see all of the care and attention that goes on behind the scenes... It’s amazing!”

“I cannot recommend Chesterbrook in Herndon enough! We started in the infant room & as a new mom, Noreen gave me full confidence that she’d care for my baby as if it were her own. She led with empathy & motherly spirit. She’s accompanied by other wonderful teachers including Ms.Monica, Ms.Christine & Ms.Chloe. Principal Dana keeps the place in top shape, communicates promptly & is always available for questions. VP Anna has warmed up to our daughter so much so - we can her school mom. Our daughter seems to absolutely love going to daycare and being surrounded by other little friends and activities. Herndon Chesterbrook gives us ease as full time working mom + dad that our daughter is in warm & capable hands as she continues to grow.”

“Beth Emeth is a warm & welcoming community that lives its values. Services are led by a combination of the rabbi and a rotating group of volunteers who serve as cantor. There are regularly scheduled services for preschoolers on Saturday mornings. Friday night services are filled with music and are much shorter than Saturday. The congregation also boasts a full day preschool during the week.”
