“We shopped at the Food Lion located at 6009 Nine Mile Road #1146 today. Our cashier was #0111 who was the store manager. I told him I knew he was different from the other cashiers that have waited on me in the pass. What made me notice him was the way he bagged my groceries. When I looked at his name tag I told him I knew he was somebody special at this store. So, I had to take the time to reach out to Food Lion and thank him for the service he provided to me and my family. My ticket #0113”

The holiday crowd is pouring in and everyone is working together and hard,keeping shelves stocked and hopping from one register to another for a speedy checkout despite any possible staffing shortages! “This store keeps busy. They do a good job of keeping it clean and organized. Even during this COVID19 era, they may run short on something but they normally have other options stocked. The sushi is good for grocery store sushi. The salads made on property are tasty and normally in good condition. There is one cranky lady at the self checkout who works there regularly, but she means well :) she is probably having people not following directions a lot to comply with COVID19 safety precautions.”

“It maybe not be the best looking supermarket it could use a remodel but that's besides the point. Anyway anything you're looking for they have it. The food that you can't find in those big neighborhood grocery stores you'll find it at The Big Apple. A variety of fruits, vegetables, fresh seafood and the meats are some what reasonable priced. I don't go there that much because it's not too close to my house. I do recommend them tho.”

“This is the only gas station I come to in Varina. They have a subway located inside. The cashiers are always friendly and the gas price is reasonable. They usually have a good deal on energy drinks and snacks.”

“This Fas Mas convenience store is part of a Valero gas station. Four gas pumps were available.This Valero gas station was still open when I filed my tank at 11:23 p.m..The restrooms were pristine.This Valero gas station is across a competitor featuring a 7 Eleven convenience store. Both gas stations are within a walking distance.”

“Typically would have given this store 1 star. Its always filthy and the staff was less than helpful. Yesterdays experience was a complete reversal. The store was clean, I wasn't swatting at flies in the produce section or sticking to the floors. I needed some veal ground, for meatballs and cutlets for my sauce. Id veen to 3 different stores and they had bison and elk but no friggin veal. You need this to make a proper sauce. A very helpful associate in the meat department (the kid knew his department) while talking with another associate, came out from behind the counter and guided me to the frozen section where, holy crap there's veal! I typically shop at Mariano's, Fresh Market or get my stuff delivered from the actual farm. Didn't even click in my brain to look in the freezer section, I always just go to the meat counter and pick up what I need. Yesterday this Kroger got an A. Keep it up, this store needs to turn around and maintain that as your standard. The only reason (IMHO) its profitable is because its really all that we have on this side. 3 grocery stores.”

“They have the best chicken but I go for the gizzards. I'd been looking for gizzards for years and people at work revealed this place just down the street! No lie: they have the real Mac & cheese, what u always hope for but never get. Well, here it is!! Nice people there too!!”
“Hospitable employees, fast service, and many conveniences. Also really good gas price! For the Fast Mart Gas station that hosts the Western Union. As with most Western Union you need photo ID to pick up money. Or if you are sending there is a convenient stand with the necessary forms and writing utensils.”
