“I had my wedding at Avon Hill during October (but did not rent the lodge). The place is spectacular! Bruce's barn has a great rustic, but polished feel and plenty of room for tons of guests and dancing (we had 120 guests). We loved the beautiful views of the mountains and the spectacular sunsets. It was also great that this venue allows you to visit multiple times before your wedding and they offer decor that has been left behind after past weddings. This was an absolute lifesaver for us!
We worked with Jocelyn who was super helpful and responsive. We did have some issues with the table arranging software, but she was quick to help us come up with a dinner set up that would fit all of our guests. After our wedding, we also experienced a delay in receiving our deposit back, but Jocelyn kept us updated on the status of the refund and it all worked out. Minus these hiccups, this is definitely a 5 star venue.
We are still receiving compliments on the venue almost 6 months later. Would definitely recommend for those looking for an outdoorsy, rustic wedding experience.”
