“Such a beautiful theater in one of our favorite locations. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. There's not a bad seat in the house. Drinks and snacks are available. We had a wonderful time rocking and rolling with Robert Plant. The decor just adds to the evenings enjoyment. Give yourself a treat and see a show soon! You won't be disappointed.”
“Eastwood Farm & Winery hosted our Porsche Club group the final evening of a 6 day drive along with local members. The libations, food and music were great and the venue relaxed and near our hotel.”
“Can not say enough GREAT tuings about this stunning place! Service AMAZING, food Ohhh myyyy gosh ???, property ????✨ book your stay asap!!! Absolutely a whole luxury experience… Also we were there to celebrate our friends 15 year anniversary and Ann Helped me with surprising 2 complimentary desserts from the chef for them at dinner in their restaurant 1799 thanks everyone so so much”
“My first time coming to this venue. The venue is great. The staff that I interacted with were friendly as well. water bottles were passed out during the concert as well which was very nice to see. The bathroom was pretty clean considering how many drunk people there were using it!”
“Stopped in after a long hike, excited to try some wines. The staff were great. It's a small and peaceful environment... absolutely love the artwork (and all things #dave) will definitely be back”

“Great hotel in every way; location amazing and staff and cleanliness stood out above all. Really a nice place, well kept, and I would highly recommend it and also happily stay here again.”
“We chose The Space Downtown for our wedding reception, and it completely exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we walked in, we were absolutely blown away by how stunning it is. The exposed brick walls give it such a warm, industrial-chic feel, perfectly complemented the beautiful large bar. We loved the option to customize the chalkboards, and the lit lanterns hanging from the ceiling created the most magical, romantic ambiance, especially once the sun went down. Our guests are still raving about how gorgeous the space was weeks later. The food was another standout. They offer a wonderful variety of menu choices and options, so we were able to create the perfect spread for our guests. Everything was absolutely amazing, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Multiple people have told us it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and we couldn’t agree more. We especially appreciated how they personally paired wine selections to complement the chosen dishes, which elevated the entire dining experience.
Beyond the aesthetics and cuisine, the location is ideal. Nestled right in downtown, it offers easy access to parking and plenty of nearby spots for guests to grab drinks if they arrive early. It made the whole evening flow effortlessly. A huge shoutout to Laura, the event coordinator. She is truly one of a kind, professional, incredibly communicative, and always got information back to us in a timely manner. Working with her was an absolute pleasure and took so much stress off our plates. Choosing The Space Downtown was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We couldn’t have been more thrilled with how everything turned out. If you’re looking for a venue that delivers on beauty, quality, and service, look no further. Highly, highly recommend !!!”
“Great venue! Fairly small and the acoustics are not that great because of the smallness of the building and the height of the walls. Has a bar area for drinks before the show. Parking isn't great. There is a parking garage behind the building across the street.”
“Gorgeous view overlooking the mountains, fire pits, and good wine at a great price. About $13 a glass, and $26 a bottle. I recommend the Pinot Grigio.
The food (hummus, crackers, and meats) were generous which was an added plus!”

“Genuinely one of the best Hyatt properties I have ever stayed at. My room was in excellent condition and had plenty of space. Comfortable bed too! The breakfast is now paid (not great) but my status with Hyatt got me a voucher. Plenty of parking nearby and a convenient location to the highway. Shopping, dining, and a movie theater within walking range. This will be my go-to hotel in the Charlottesville area!”
“Lovely location with quality food and coffee! I’ll definitely be back to try something different - many options. Beautiful building - open and quiet breakfast spot. Very attentive - super pleasant barista. Delicious latte, could have been 10 degrees hotter but flavor very smooth. Had two really good pastries. I appreciate that they are nice sized! A strawberry rhubarb turnover and cranberry crumb cake. Both delicious. Will be back to try the pizza in the brick oven.”
“EXCELLENT! We hosted a rehearsal dinner / welcome party for our son and now daughter-in-law at LEVEL10 in April 2024. This venue is incredible. All of our guests loved the views and elevated space! We worked with Taz to set up everything and she was fantastic. Taz went above and beyond to get us perfectly set up and then completely packed up at the end of the night. I was planning everything remotely and Taz was able to answer all of my questions and then also offer some great recommendations that made the night run without a hitch! Located on the 10th floor - there are beautiful views of the mountains and downtown Charlottesville. The patio is so well heated you can be comfortable your guests can mingle inside or outside without any concern! With AMPLE parking and the access to the space only for guests attending it was perfect for our guests. Everything you need is in the space from the sound system, to video screens, to lighting. LEVEL10 is a truly awesome spot to hold any event!! THANK YOU LEVEL10 for an outstanding evening!”
“We absolutely loved having our wedding at Old Metropolitan Hall! The space is so unique and full of character—it was the perfect setting for our celebration with 65 guests. It felt intimate yet spacious, and created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Everything came together beautifully, and we’re so happy we chose this venue for our special day!”
“The Omni is a pretty hotel that is in a fantastic location. The front desk staff, valet staff, and the staff in the Conservatory were great. The Hillock, not so much though (more on that in a bit).
The room was pretty clean and away from the elevator, as is our preference. There was plenty of clothing storage, both hangers and drawers, which seems to be rare these days! The bed was a bit hard, but that is fairly typical for most hotels.
We loved The Conservatory. We had drinks there one night and dessert another night. It's very pretty and the staff was great.
Now for the bad. We ate breakfast one morning at The Hillock and it was terrible. We were waiting to be seated and apparently the folks in front of us were with a wedding party. The manager spoke with them at length and completely ignored us while blocking the way when another staff member came to seat us. Unfortunately things did not get better. It took 10 minutes to get coffee. We never got menus (and we did ask for menus) so we decided to try the buffet, but it was barely edible. We eat buffet breakfasts in hotels a lot but this one was about the worst we've had. Definitely not worth the price. Maybe the ala carte is better, but our experience was bad enough that we didn't want to give a second chance.”
“Oakhurst Inn was a special place to stay on my birthday and it has overwhelmingly attentive front desk and valet service. I spent my birthday here and it was a last minute plan after finding out my dog has a terminal illness. The staff were so kind and helpful. My trip to Charlottesville will be remembered for many reasons. It will be a fond memory and keepsake of this trip with my dog during this time in her life. Thank you, Oakhurst Inn for providing this service and making things so seamless. If you travel with pets, Oakhurst Inn offers select rooms. Call in advance to make sure one is available. They don't have a refrigerator in the room so plan ahead if you have any food or items that are perishable. Enjoy your stay with your furry friend.”
“Very cute hotel!!! Bed was SO comfortable. The bar was really cute and the bartender was really friendly (studying to become a mixologist so offered to craft our cocktails based on what we were craving). Parking is valet only and $15 per car. The pool area and main building were all very cute with a cozy polished aesthetic throughout. Only (very minor) down side was I was looking forward to a morning sauna session before checkout but it wasn’t on and would probably take all day to heat up. I would 100% stay here again!”
“I've been there several times for birthday events, job events, and just to hang out. One of the best atmospheres and great customer service. The music and food is top notch and the workers really care.”
“Great place for the littles. We always love it!
However, four stars because i took my baby boy to the tot zone/little jumper area (made for 46 inches and below) and he was knocked over 4xs by teenage boys in the netted area and hit with balls twice, with a worker standing there watching.”
“What an incredible concept and execution of a community craft center. So many useful items that you would never expect and so inspiring to walk through. Stopped by with the intention of donating old craft supplies and found my next 20 projects!!
I also really enjoy the fill a bag concept as you can really get so many helpful items for such a reasonable price.
Also highly recommend all local teachers stopping by. They have lots of writing supplies that they offer to teachers for free and lots of fun classroom decorations that you can get for dirt cheap.
Stop here before you even think about Joanne, Michael’s, etc.”
