Rooms were sort of clean enough.... (Found someone's hair beside the toilet), but the trash cans in the dining room were very dirty.
There were several lights out in the halls and security at the side doors was non-existent.
The staff I met was Very casual, grooming himself while seated at the counter, at checkout.
The cheesy eggs were delicious. There were missing items at the breakfast bar, e.g. syrup for the waffles.
While we were glad for a place in the area to stay, it wasn't worth the price.

I recently stayed the night here to attend a memorial service nearby. Upon entering, the room appeared to be clean and roomy but very stuffy. The AC had to be set at 68 to cool it down at all. After taking off my shoes in the evening I noticed the carpet was very damp around the AC unit. The bed was clean and comfortable. I took a shower in the morning and found the bathtub so slippery I had to put a towel in the bottom to keep from falling. There were no handrails. Then I dried my hair and the hair dryer sparked and died. Breakfast was adequate but pastries were very stale. The only coffer creamers they had were flavored ones. Staff were very cordial.

my reservation was from friday to Monday. I returned Sunday nite my key didn’t work. I went to the office called a couple of time. When to the office side door and knocked the door. And when the lady came back she asked me to not do that again. M’am im not stayed here for free i paid for my stay. N im tired i want to go back to my room. And she say what? Not to knocked at the door….im tired and need to go to my PAID room where my stuff are. Please! Never again. Very rude!

!!BED BUG ALERT!!
This place is disgusting. They have bed bugs and all the staff appear to know because they didn’t bat an eyelash when we told them.
The breakfast is trash and the gym equipment is broken.

I wouldn't recommend this dump to anyone. Rooms smell , breakfast is horrible and air conditioners leak all over the floor. Good luck getting a room with a working fridge and coffee pot.

Stayed here last Wednesday and when I got to the room it had a damp smell, with a lingering cigarette stench in the room too. Dead spiders in the corners. It was 99 degrees out that day so I set the temperature on the thermostat at 70. When I woke up the floor was soaked as the condensation from the ac unit was dripping water the whole night. I went to the front desk to bring up my concern and they tell me I set the room too cold and it was my fault the ac unit leaked like that. I was appalled with the absurdity of that response. They also let local people not staying at the hotel use the pool. Just not a good experience at all

I’ll be honest, I was a bit worried after I read reviews, but I had a good experience. The front desk staff was friendly. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The location is great, just a short drive to the downtown area with shops and restaurants. I didn’t use the fitness center or pool, but both were open I was told. Nor did I eat breakfast so I can’t speak to those. My only complaint was a loud neighbor, but that can’t be helped.

The hotel next door that I had a reservation with, wouldn't give me a room because the internet was down.
Tired and dejected I came here. They said the system was down because of an accident and wouldn't be up till tomorrow.
But she just wrote my name down and walked me to my room because she couldn't make me a key card. She told me to have a nice night and to just check-in in the morning. What service! I was tired from the long drive, it was wonderful to get a rest without driving to another town.

Good location as it's the only place in town. Pool was fun but not maintained. And no microwave in the room.
The breakfast was abhorrent. Zero toast zero waffles zero fruit options other than bruised and dented apples. Severely under prepared for breakfast with only having reconstituted eggs and sausage.
Brought it up to the staff, there were two staff workers sitting at the desk and some person in plain clothes standing behind all three seemed very dismissive and annoyed at the fact that I was asking if they had options. Extremely unhelpful & extremely rude. The excuse of the truck comes in today seemed well-used. Good hotel management would make sure that someone went to the grocery store to make sure they had minimum supplies for their guests.
This is my first time in decades staying at the Best Western when I normally stay at Hilton's I will never stay at a Best Western again.

I stayed there Frequently day June 13th. Looks a lot nicer on the outside than it is on the inside. Our room had a cat pee, smell. There was trash in the hallways. There were three employees sitting around downstairs, and I guess none of them felt like picking up the trash.When we went down for their hot breakfast the next morning the only two items were eggs and sausage. The coffee was barely brown water and when I asked about it, she said it’s the machine. I can’t do anything about it. There are not a lot of options in Kilmonack, but I will definitely try to find something else next time.

Staff and customer service is great. I guess since the hotel is in a town in the middle of nothing that's the standard that they hold it as such because there are just a few things lacking from other best westerns like the fitness in the bag and simple tidyness. Staff is nice but asked her about it and had no idea it was posted in the hotel gym. Also cereal had been on the stairs for three days lol.

Computers down at check in and check out. No receipt for the stay. No email receipt still. Super rude woman at check in, which was in the evening. She was watching tv in the lobby area and when I came in to get a room she did not even get up. She hollered from the couch what did I need. Super rude and annoyed that she had to get up and check us in. Day staff seemed pleasant.
