The prices are unbelievable— I have purchased books that don’t otherwise exist in the US or that are early 20th century editions for under $20 many times. There is such variety for discovery; I have, many times, spent a couple hours just picking over the collection, and I always have such a lovely time. I also really love the cards they sell and pick them up for when I return home, they’re all beautiful. The people who run it are also incredibly decent, kind, and well-organized, and it is always a joy to see them.Update: I came by and saw the Book Nook seems to be permanently closed. I am so sad to see that. This was easily the highlight of many trips south for me. I wish the owners the very best in life.”
