“I went into Jimmy's not knowing exactly what I needed, he helped me decude exactly what to do and how I should proceed. I bought pistons for my motor and left them to be bored to spec. After just two days he got back to me saying it was done, and when I tried to offer 100$ for the job previously quoted for 90$, he declined and charged me 80! Really stand up guy who knows what he is doing and doesn't try to take advantage of anyone. I left happy and ready to come back next time I need some quality work done. If I could leave 6 stars I would.”

“Relatively new to New Kent and been looking for a local shop to go to when I need tires, inspections, etc. After a horrible experience last year with a different local shop that I will never go back to, I went into Eltham Auto earlier this week for a state inspection and I finally found my place! No appointment needed in the first hour of the day, which was very convenient, and everyone I spoke to was super friendly. There were no made up repairs "needed" to pass and the waiting room was spacious and clean. They will absolutely have my business in the future.”
“I was traveling in the area on a Sat morning when my vehicle broke down. I called lots of shops but got no answers. Bobby returned my call and then drove out to help me out. We got my vehicle to his shop and he was able to take care of it. His rates were very reasonable and he took care of it even on the weekend. What else could you ask for? 10 stars!”
“Bad Company is the best! We were on a road trip with our young kids in our 92 suburban and the check engine light came on. We went to multiple shops before Bad Company - none of them had the correct OBD scanner. Bad Company not only had the correct scanner but was able to fix the problem on the spot - FOR FREE! “After an accident on I95 my vehicle was towed here for repair. Duane, the manger took fantastic care of me. He listened and did EVERYTHING he could to get me out of a jam and back on the road. He treated me fairly and like family. I was treated with respect and care. What a great man! AAA put 2 tires on my vehicle and I was able to travel home safely a day later.

“I've used Crewe's twice. Both times they got me in on the same day for service. Once for putting on a new tire and just a few days ago getting two plugs in my truck tire. Both times they were super efficient and their prices for things are much lower than other auto repair shops. I'll definitely continue to use them in the future!”

“Edit* This place is very busy but its the only place I can take my mower to. I have taken it there for warranty work and just recently because my zero turn was not idling properly. After months of waiting for a carb it seemed to be running better. It just so happen to run bad when I bring it home and better when I take it back. The next OEM carb they ordered was flawed. When they were able to get the third carb in, the mower now seems to be running better than ever. It took some time but there were able to work with me through it.”

“We were visiting the area from out of town a few weekends ago and broke down across the street by the fire station. I walked over to Car Quest to try and get help. They walked over to the shop and luckily someone was there who was able to come get our vehicle jumped and over to the shop. Our alternator had died and Car Quest had a remanufactured one there in stock-we decided to go with that in hopes that it would get us back home. Unfortunately less than an hour later all of the dash lights returned and Car Quest and your shop were closed. We ended up finding another parts store that tested that alternator and said it was no good and they had a brand new alternator that we bought and then we paid the mechanic they knew that could install for us. While the remanufactured alternator that you installed was not good, we were still appreciative of the help that was provided even though you were technically closed. Now we have to deal with getting the failed remanufactured alternator returned to that Car Quest because no local store will take it.”
