Dr. Davis and Stephanie are amazing. I felt heard for the first time in years. I am so thankful to the friend that made this recommendation. They and their staff work hard to make sure that their patients are heard. They also have helped me to lessen my constant oa and psoriatic arthritis pain. And, some mechanical issues along the way.

Great Doctor who provided great counsel and service. He relieved my pain and I am still in shock about it. I am so grateful!

I have been going here for years Dr. Davis is the one who found out why I was having on-and-off back pain for so many years. Then has helped me to manage that pain. His assistants are excellent. I only gave four stars because they need better office management and office staff. You can never get anyone on the phone, you always have to take time to go down in person just to talk to someone to say schedule, reschedule or get refills. I have even been there as other people complained. They should set up an online system like my chart with several people assigned to complete the tasks. Perhaps, allowing regular visits to be scheduled through it as well. This would help free up the phone lines. The operational risks for this business are the day-to-day office administration tasks and people. After all, customer service is key to the continued success of a business, you have poor customer service word of mouth spreads and you lose patients. Time to invest in better training, more staff and system upgrades.

I live over an hour away. Have been a patient for at least 6 years. I had an appointment with a NP that I waited for 2 weeks to get in. I arrived less than 10 minutes late due to traffic and was told I couldn't be seen today. That it was up to the provider's discretion and they said that I couldn't be seen. So I left in tears. I can barely get out of bed because of my back pain and now I'm just dejected and depressed. I've waited longer in their waiting room to be seen - but that's okay I guess. It's a horrible feeling knowing that it doesn't matter to them. Thanks for being understanding :( Update: I spoke with the provider she was very understanding and said that shouldn't have happened that my appointment was a 15 min appt and that is why I was turned away. If she had known how far I'd come she would have seen me. As for the actual back issues. They have been really good. We are working on improving my pain and both the NP and Dr take time to listen and answer my questions

Dr. Ray is the first pain management doctor I have seen to actually take an interest in whereI described my pain and actually studied it and got me out of pain. I am so blessed to have found him!

They never answer the phone or return calls. I had to drive an hour to the office to get something resolved. This is no way to treat people. After you finally talk to someone they tell you something different from the previous person. Even the doctor know the administrative staff is terrible. The doctor all but said that during a previous visit. Stay far away from this place if you are in pain please.

I have been trying to contact this office since my procedure was done last week to let them know I am still in pain. I was placed on hold 2 times only to be told that someone from the office would be calling me back. That was on Friday, I never received a call back. After being in pain all weekend, I called again Monday and was told they didn't have any appointments until mid April and was told if I wanted to speak to the office they would for sure call me back this time. They never called back. This is terrible patient care. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 was because the doctor is great but the follow-up patient care is the absolute worst. At the very minimum, the office should be contacting the patient to ensure the procedure went well and there aren't any concerns. Get it together and fix your patient care practices. BTW....I'm still waiting on my call back.

I have been seeing Dr. Davis for over 5 years now. He is one of the few Dr's left that really listen. Willing to look at the big picture, compassionate, and very good at what he does.

I've been trying to get in touch with them and I don't get a call back. Their office seems to be awfully busy all the time

Doctor Davis is great-- the problem is it is impossible to contact the office. In order to make an appointment for trigger point injections, a member of the team that gives the injections must call the patient back to schedule the appointment. I was told this would happen within 24 hours. The pain team returns messages at the end of the day after the procedures for that day are complete. The office closes at 4:30pm. If procedures are going on the entire day, that means a call back wouldn't happen until after office hours. I have called the call center for Pain and Spine and they do nothing but take messages and pass them along. A rep tried to get me to someone in the office, but the line I was transferred to didn't have a voice mail box and no one answered. I was disconnected. Two days and counting trying to get in touch with someone in the office. What good is it having a good doctor, if a patient can't make an appointment to see the good doctor. Surely the manager of this office sees this is a problem that needs immediate correction. Office Managers are supposed to be problem solvers. This is a huge problem.

I was looking for causes of my pain by visiting multiple specialists and the more I looked for what caused it the more pain persisted. Looking back, seeing all those test results and MRI images with horrible interpretations of various specialists was a way to confuse and scare myself more and I had to put a stop at all that. I trusted my body more than a story of a diagnosis I was being offered that had nothing to do with what I know is true for me. I’ve made a decision to go to Dr. Davis because I was ready to experience a pain free life again after the sports injury last year. This doctor is one of a kind. Everything he does is based on personal lived experience so I’m sure he has dealt with a great amount of pain to achieve this level of mastery over it. Super knowledgeable about his art and latest developments in the field he specializes in. I’ve received a guided steroid injection into a soft tissue in the trochanter area in front of my thigh that was absolutely pain free. It was actually quite unexpected and pleasurable experience. Pain in my thigh gradually dissipated over a course of a couple of weeks and I’m sure it is because of this doc’s absolute conviction that it would. This doc is guiding you towards what’s working right in your body not what’s wrong. Most importantly, when you’re being diagnosed or prescribed meds by any doctor, ask them: Did you experience this condition or used this med yourself? If they say no, leave that place. Dr. Davis leads by example, knows what he’s doing and does it right. Highly recommend!

I had been a patient of NSPC for over 15 years after a very bad accident left me in constant pain even after several surgeries. Then after having the nerve to be honest about my increasing pain due to scar build up and wanting to explore more intensive treatments, I was cut off colder than a slab of ice in January. I was given refills only for "regular medications", I've only ever been on ONE muscle relaxer and was refused a refill for it. Further follow up emails to request an appointment in person have gone radio silent. I thought I could finally let my guard down and actually trust a doctor. But once again I was wrong. Now I have been left in horrible spasms for over a month now and I cannot get my medication or a return phone call. I have NO idea why I was "cancelled", but it appears as though my trusted doctors honestly don't give a ripping flip about me or my problems. Take your chances if you have to, but trusting doctors only leads to more pain and disappointment.

The doctors and staff at this office in Landsdowne are good... But the office manager Emma, has no clue what she is doing. She has a very nonchalant attitude about patient care. She moves at her own pace and doesn't follow up to ensure the patient gets what he or she needs! Just to be clear an office staff can definitely make or break an office .

My back had been in severe pain for months with a burning numb sensation in my leg every night. I was starting to have difficulty walking, sitting, and standing. Dr. Davis, his PA, and other staff gave me quick results with a kind and thorough explanation for my pain. The treatment almost entirely alleviated my pain in the couple weeks and months proceeding my injections. He was definitely one of the kindest doctors I had seen in the Northern VA area. Thank you so much!!
