Everyone is super nice and welcoming, and they always give lots of love (and treats!) to our pups. Plus they know a lot about their products so if you need a recommendation they can provide it no problem. They also make some very fun events like Harry Potter Day for the dogs (photo attached) where they get "selected" for their Hogwarts house.They also can make a cake for your dog, we got a fantastic one for one of our dog's gotcha day!

200-250 Fort Evans Rd NE, LeesburgBought a hamster from this location a few weeks ago and it is the friendliest hamster ever!! The staff are all super friendly and gave solid advice on how to care for him. They asked questions to confirm I had the correct tank set up and knew what his needs would be.
Additionally, I was actually there at the same time as someone else who left a bad review regarding getting “sick” fish and saying that an employee was rude to them. I was the next aisle over and heard the whole interaction. The employee was very kind and when she attempted to confirm the information regarding tank set up the customer stated they had several types of fish that were NOT compatible with the “sick” fish. When the employee tried to educate them on it not being a good environment due to the aggressive nature of the other fish they already have establish, they (the customer) said it didn’t matter because per Petco policy it had to be taken back. He then raised his voice at her so she left to get a manager to handle to situation and he followed her to continue complaining that she was incorrect.

Old Mill Boarding Kennel & Grooming
91 Lawson Rd SE, LeesburgOld Mill has been our go to for grooming and boarding for almost ten years. The staff is attentive, kind and caring. Over the past year or so the cost of grooming has continued to rise. What I considered reasonable pricing once is now becoming too expensive. As I understand it, Old Mill is now under new ownership and changes being made may not be favorable. Rising costs to grooming that may impact groomers tips also not a good practice as the groomers work very hard and provide excellent service that is physically demanding. I was also saddened to learn the daycare facility that collaborated with Old Mill closed. It provide a bigger area to socialize and exercise for dogs being boarded for longer periods of time (half-day/full day). While I would recommend Old Mill based on the amazing staff and care they provide-I am hesitant going forward of the rising cost and the changes new ownership brings.

Sandi responded to my grooming request immediately and had her in within a week. When I dropped her off, Sandi greeted us at the door and her personality is like literal sunshine. Our pup has never been a huge fan of the groomer but when she was picked up and arrived home she actually seemed calm and happy and she looked amazing! Dixie can’t wait to come back for another spaw day!

The CVCA Cardiologist team in Leesburg, VA, rearranged their schedule and donated their time to assist the Dental Surgery team with the full mouth teeth extraction for our 15-year-old, feline, Mr. Maizy, who was just diagnosed with full heart block and stomatitis. Mr. Maizy also has a very high sensitivity to anesthesia. Although we only had an appointment that day for a cardiology exam, due to the urgency of Mr. Maizy’s condition, CVCA coordinated separate organizations to perform emergency surgery. This included Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery, VCA Animal Emergency Critical Care, and CVCA Cardiac Care for Pets, which are all conveniently in the same location to perform the procedure. What a wonderful place this is to have such comprehensive care teams from different companies collaborating with such immediacy as they did for our Mr. Maizy. During his surgery, there was a team of seven, including four doctors, working on our Mr. Maizy. We were completely blown away by all of this!! They reaffirmed our belief that there are veterinary professionals who dedicate their selfless, loving care to the needs of our cherished four-legged, family members. We highly recommend CVCA Cardiac Care for Pets, Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery, and VCA Animal Emergency Critical Care in Leesburg, VA!! 165 Fort Evans Rd NE, LeesburgWe brought our dog in from another urgent care facility as her issues seemed to be neurological. The staff at BVNS was very kind and caring. They kept our dog comfortable while preforming their work up on her. Then we talked with Dr. Wood. She very clearly explained our options and we discussed the different scenarios that arise from the options we had. She was very professional and compassionate while working with us during these difficult times. The front desk person, Arlette was also very patient and kindly answered all of our questions as first-time dog owners. Would recomend BVNS and their staff for dogs that need their services.

We had to have a really complicated surgery performed on our furry friend. The staff was supportive, and explained everything in detail, answering our many questions along the way! They called us numerous times throughout the day, letting us know their progress. If you have something seriously wrong with your furry family member, I whole heartily recommend this place! Dr. Raleigh and staff are fully qualified in assisting you with any oral surgery needs. They even call the morning after to check on their patients! It can be a long drive but well worth it!

Today I met a nice veterinarian Dr Fabrizi who took the time to explain to me the process of what kidney failure is and how can I make my cats life better. 112 Dry Mill Rd SW, LeesburgI normally do not write reviews, but I feel that I need to write one after my experience yesterday at Catoctin. My 17-year-old dog named Lucie who suffered from several health issues was struggling to breathe yesterday afternoon. I knew it was unfortunately her time and had some reservations about bringing her to the vet to put her down, because I had always wanted to do it at home where she felt most comfortable. I called Catoctin and they told me to bring her in right away. Once I got into the clinic they brought me right into a room. They took her back to put a catheter in her leg and ensured me that she was not stressed. They handed her back to me and were able to administer the drugs while she remained laying on my lap in her bed. The whole time they explained exactly what was happening and reassured me that I was making the correct decision. After she passed the vet asked me if I wanted a hug (since I was visibly distraught and alone since my boyfriend was unable to make it home in time). They then gave me some time alone with her and when I was ready, they walked me out through the back without having to handle any of the payment that day. I am so grateful for the entire staff and for Dr. Trinidad who I believe was the vet who handled the appointment. I would also highly recommend Dr. Robbins, who was Lucie's primary vet and was always patient and helpful with my many concerns. I just wanted to thank Catoctin for making such a stressful and difficult decision easier. I will be using Catoctin for my other pets in the future.

This speakeasy is tucked away inside a gelato shop on a popular street of Leesburg downtown. The ambience is moody, dim yet charming. The menu is polished and the items seem delicious.
The owner and also our bartender, Paul, was an amazing host and made us great cocktails. They take a lot of pride in making some of their own bitters and syrups from scratch and rightly so, because we loved their old fashions both off of the menu and Dealer’s Choice.
Paul filled us in on all the events that take place there every week, and we’d definitely be back for Thursday Karaoke nights, brunch and dinner, all of it!

I went with my sister in law while she was in town and it was a great way to spend an hour in the afternoon together, surrounded by sweet kitties. The staff and owner were great and I enjoyed the simple refreshments and delicious cookie. I am glad places like this exist. Where cats have a safe, happy, and social environment where potential adopters can come and spend time with a cat before committing to adoption.
