113 Edds Ln, SterlingI needed an emergency appointment since my dog was having symptoms and was not eating. Our regular vet was not available that day so I called countryside animal clinic. They gave me a same day appointment and Dr Valentino and her team very fantastic with my dog and with me as a pet owner. Dr Valentino did some labs right away that helped her diagnosed my dog’s condition and to provide a treatment plan. I am very grateful for her professionalism and her knowledge. Dr Valentino was so empathetic and caring.

Dr Jones himself was down on the floor with her while he did the examination, and let her hide under a chair while he checked her eyes and ears. She was so much more comfortable by the time the appointment was finished, and it was all thanks to the thoughtful and caring treatment of the staff. Great place!

12324 Towncenter Plz, SterlingWhen family dinner calls for something special, Costa Verde Grill & Ceviche Bar delivered on every level. This Peruvian gem in Sterling, VA is the real deal.
We started with Ceviche, Choros a la Chalaca, steamed mussels topped with a fresh salsa of tomato, onion, and lime, and Anticuchos de Corazón and Pollo, perfectly charred beef heart and chicken skewers straight out of Peru's street food tradition.
For mains, the Jalea Mixta was a showstopper, a generous platter of fried seafood and yuca that the table attacked immediately. The Seco de Cordero, slow-braised lamb in a rich cilantro sauce, was deeply flavorful. And the Crispy Pork, their take on Carapulcra served with crispy pork belly, rice, and salsa criolla, was outstanding.
Desserts didn't disappoint either. Suspiro a la Limeña, Churros con Helado, and Tres Leches, all solid. Pisco Sours and Old Fashioned kept the table happy throughout.
Special shoutout to Chris, our server, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made the night better.
First visit with the family. Definitely not the last. Costa Verde just earned a regular table from us. ??

My WWII vet Dad, Victor, has a booth dedicated to him there with his photo up as a young soldier. We know pretty much everyone who works there. They fed about 8K veterans FOR FREE this past Veteran's Day. They go above and beyond and really take care of all veterans and service workers. The people who worked there are the most kind and caring and the food is quality, oh-so-good, fabulous to cater any party or when you just don't feel like cooking. 21018 Southbank St, SterlingMy second favorite pizza spot in the area (best being fireworks in Leesburg). This place has great pizza that is consistently good and an AMAZING lunch special for 2 slices and a drink. The salad however is not to my liking.
My only small gripe is that the sitting area is small and cramped.
Have been many times and will certainly be back for some of the best pizza.

We had an excellent server Ziniah and not a single dish that we tried was bad. I learned from Ziniah that most of the negative reviews were from people who had not made a reservation. So be sure to make a reservation. It took me almost 3 weeks to find an after-church lunch reservation. But I am glad we waited.
We had the unlimited brunch. As a party of three, we tried deviled eggs (excellent), catfish bites (very addictive), cornbread (this was my favorite, I’m still dreaming about having it again), biscuits and honey (excellent), shrimp and grits (good), chicken and waffle, Southern breakfast, peach cobbler, pecan pie (excellent), and a chocolate milkshake.
I can’t remember the last time we tried a restaurant that had so many standout dishes paired with excellent service. Ziniah, you belong in the hospitality industry. I hope you keep climbing up the ladder! God bless!
