My dachshund needed nail trimming and a bath after digging around outside all week. The groomer noticed he was sensitive around one paw and adjusted how they handled him instead of forcing it. Pickup was delayed by about fifteen minutes because another dog had an accident during grooming, but they kept everyone informed and apologized sincerely for the wait.

It is a seamless process for both drop off and pick up. It is nice to know your pet is safe and happy while playing with friends. Charlie always loves going to “school” and a couple employees even recognized him at the local dog park. Highly recommend HH for doggie day care.

Sterling Park Animal Hospital
800 West Church Road, SterlingAfter our cat had two seizures over the weekend I booked an emergency appointment at another vet. They quoted me $200 just for the appointment. When I showed up the said they had no doctors to see us and they had moved my appointment time from 8am to 8pm. When I said it couldn’t wait, the very apologetic desk worker suggested Sterling Park. I called immediately and even though they didn’t have a single app available they said to come in at 1pm and they’d see her. The doctor listened to my description of the seizures and then took the cat away for blood testing and an exam. Came back with the rapid blood work and went over it with me carefully, answering all my questions. Talked me through all options and possible outcomes, and then let me decide which way to take treatment. I had an amazing experience, my cat is doing VERY well on the medicine we decided on, and I will be bringing all my animals to Sterling Park in the future. All in it cost $350 for an emergency visit, blood work, exam and first round of meds. I can’t thank them all enough for such great care during a stressful and scary experience!

519 Brethour Court, SterlingOur dog absolutely loves going to Sterling dog walking LLC. They provide exceptional service and are flexible with daycare, dog walks and overnights. Our one year old always comes home tired and happy. Which allows us to get what we need done after our long shifts. Elizabeth who cares for the dogs is a joy to talk with and gives the animals a great environment. Plus provides cute pictures through out the day which makes you feel better about being away from your fur babies. Would recommend this company to all my friends with dogs.

46286 Cranston Street, SterlingWe've been a few times now and this is quickly becoming one of our favorite local spots for unfussy, reliably delicious food. Seating on the left side of the restaurant is a little quieter (and nicer IMO) than the right side which can be a little happening with folks at the bar. Their chicken cooked under a brick is the best chicken and the whole area and I will die on that hill. Between the char grill and the smoke and the umami and being perfectly cooked every time, it's hard not to order it every single time we go. Non-Alcoholic drinks are refreshing and they have a really good variety. The seasonal appetizers are worth it - we are already missing the watermelon salad. Definitely don't miss out on their pasta dishes either - the gemelli vodka has so much flavor and is really great if you add chicken to it. Finally, I need to give a shout out to the staff especially Ika. She's absolutely incredible and every time we've had her as a server it's been like chatting with a friend.

Ivy By The Lake

The space is clean and stylish, but the real draw is the huge patio overlooking a small man-made lake. It's the kind of place where you can settle in, order a few plates, grab a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere.
And the food? Top-notch in option.
We kept it light this time and went with appetizers instead of a full meal: shawarma bites, olives, Brussels sprouts, and Spreads with Tandoori Bread.
Now, I normally don't even like Brussels sprouts. The other two people in our party were loving them, so I finally gave in and took a bite.
Yeah, pretty freaking delicious.
For the spreads, we chose baba ghanoush, tzatziki, and cacik. The tandoori bread was warm, incredibly soft and tender, perfect for tearing apart and dragging through the dips. Definitely one to order for the table.
The shawarma bites were another decent hit and had us eyeing some of the larger dishes coming out of the kitchen.
And that's when we realized we're going to have to come back.
There's a mixed grill that looks like it could feed about four people, piled with grilled meats and made for sharing. Then there's the Shawarma Experience, which requires at least 24 hours' notice.
Overall, Ivy on the Lake has the combination we love: great Mediterranean flavors, a beautiful outdoor setting, and a very chill atmosphere.
We only scratched the surface this time.
