Wiggle Butt & Whiskers
1603 Village Market Blvd SE #108, LeesburgThe best pet store in all of Northern Virginia! They have awesome products but more importantly the staff is fantastic. Everyone is super nice and welcoming, and they always give lots of love (and treats!) to our pups. Plus they know a lot about their products so if you need a recommendation they can provide it no problem. They also make some very fun events like Harry Potter Day for the dogs (photo attached) where they get "selected" for their Hogwarts house. They also can make a cake for your dog, we got a fantastic one for one of our dog's gotcha day!

Pet Grooming
The Pet Spa
14255 Amys Meadow Ct, LeesburgAmanda is amazing with my 2 goldens. They love going to the Pet Spa. I love that they are the only two that are there and she loves on them. They're not crated to get dried, like other groomers I've taken them too. (no wonder they hated to go to the groomers before, I was not aware of these practices.) They jump right out of the car and are excited to go in. She does a wonderful job and they always come back so happy and handsome. I love that I get a picture on my way to pick the up.

Bush Veterinary Neurology Service (BVNS) - Leesburg
165 Fort Evans Rd NE, LeesburgMy recent experience with BVNS was very positive. I found the office to be organized and operated with precision. The Doctors and Staff are consummate professionals who took as much time as needed to explain the test results and answer my questions. Most importantly my frail, senior dog was treated with care and kindness. I left there knowing exactly where we stand with her condition and recommended course of action to keep her safe and as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend this practice for pet neurology.

Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery
165 Fort Evans Rd NE, LeesburgI cannot recommend Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery enough. We were met with love when Dr. Raleigh got onto the floor with my dog to greet her. During her surgery, she almost ran to the exam room because she was so thrilled to be back with people who loved her. During her surgical procedure, I was called several times with updates about how she was doing and what stage in the process they were in. I was given excellent explanation of what was done and what discharge would look like. They even called us the following day to see how my dog was doing following her procedure. Absolutely in awe of the love, care, and compassion that was given throughout this process!

Catoctin Veterinary Clinic
112 Dry Mill Rd SW, LeesburgIf I could only see 1 veterinarian and 1 lead tech for the rest of my dog's lives it would be Dr. Susan Conway and Tara the Lead Tech. I apologize for not knowing Tara's last name. Dr. Conway is so incredibly down to earth and honest, I love her. She knows a lot about breeds that are less common. She makes herself available even when she is on vacation. What vet does that?! Dr. Conway gets it. These pets are my children. Tara helped me so much when my English bulldog injured his back foot. We had to go daily for check ups. She cared for his wound thoroughly with no pain. She loves my bulldog like he is her own. She takes takes selfies with him and makes him feel so special. I want to extend a very special thank you to another vet here. His name is Dr. Brian Carsen. He helped me on one of the worst days of my life. He helped my 200+ pound English Mastiff Sherman over the rainbow bridge. He was so compassionate and smart. He thought way outside the box to make sure we were able to take Sherman to his final resting place ourselves. Dr. Carsen, thank you. And finally Dr. Robbins, thank you for telling me I needed the sonogram for Sherman. It's because of you that we found out he had cancer. Clients for life!

Old Mill Veterinary Hospital
91 Lawson Rd SE, LeesburgThe front desk, Erica, and Dr. Cox were all fantastic. I had such a great experience coming here with my cat Kady. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I had my 5 month old daughter with me and they were very patient and also so helpful by helping us in and out of the building. They got us in the same day as well which was such a blessing. Pricing was fair and I didn't feel pushed or guilty to spend money. Thank you to all the staff there! We will definitely be coming back to old mill in the future! Also Kady already seems to be at ease with the treatment given! Thank you!

Rice Len DVM
64 Plaza St NE, LeesburgI have been taking all my animals since 2009 to this veterinary clinic. The staff is thoughtful and caring . Today I met a nice veterinarian Dr Fabrizi who took the time to explain to me the process of what kidney failure is and how can I make my cats life better. He was understanding and answered all my questions. I will recommend this vet clinic to anyone who cares for their animals ! And even though I live an hour away will not change them for no one. I know my cats and dog will get the best care!

Conway Susan DVM
112 Dry Mill Rd SW, LeesburgIf I could rate Catoctin Veterinary clinic 10 stars, I would! I have been taking my dog Bleu to Catoctin since he was 4 months old and I refuse to take him anywhere else. I have seen three different doctors and they have all been so kind, professional, informative, and curtious. Whether it is a routine check up or an emergency situation, they do a thorough job and are SO great with my Bleu! Dr. Henneke and Dr. Robin are my absolute favorites-- they take their time when checking Bleu and explain any and all relevant information to me (in a way that I understand). I always leave my appointments reassured and feeling well informed-- and more importantly, Bleu leaves happy! There have been a few emergency situations and they squeezed Bleu in every single time. Additionally, the prices are SIGNIFICANTLY better than VCA-- which is where my dog went initially. Please, please, please go to Catoctin if you have a fur baby! You are in the BEST hands!!

Buford's Biscuits
7 W Market St, LeesburgI came in on a weekday to meet up with Foodie friends…. This is a quaint, old rowhouse type joint with friend staff and eclectic, random features… such as tables and chairs, but the coffee situation is very interesting – You grab a random, unique cup from the wall and fill it with coffee from the urns that they keep filled with fresh coffee. The menu is fun, interesting, and unique and is loaded with some really appetizing items. To keep it simple, I went with their Nashville biscuit (as you can imagine, it’s a hot chicken style biscuit). When it came out, I was amazed at how big it was, with two chicken thighs on it and huge cathead biscuits. The flavor of the chicken was excellent with a nice spice and perfect batter/fry to it! I honestly didn’t think I’d eat much of the biscuit as many times even when biscuits are good, they’re dry and after eating half, I’m done, but not this time… I ate the ENTIRE THING!!! The biscuit was extremely tasty and moist!!! Perfect biscuit, in fact!!!Overall, I absolutely enjoyed the food and the service was friendly… Highly recommend stopping in!!

Cowbell Kitchen
26 N King St Suite 110, LeesburgFood is pretty good. It’s a very cute place! BUT not kid friendly at all. I came here with my son who is almost 2, and they had no booster seat or high chair for him to sit in. He did manage to sit at the table, and did pretty well considering his food was at eye level.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly (no high chairs or booster seats). The chairs also have huge gaps/openings in the back.

Black Walnut Brewery
212 S King St, LeesburgWe recently hosted our wedding welcome party at Black Walnut Brewery, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, Black Walnut met and exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect setting for a memorable evening. The atmosphere at Black Walnut Brewery was exactly what we were looking for—inviting, festive, and perfectly suited for our 50-person welcome party. Despite the chilly weather, the thoughtful inclusion of heaters ensured that our guests were comfortable both indoors and outdoors. The venue's proximity to parking and our rehearsal dinner venue made it incredibly convenient for our guests, especially those traveling from Dulles or DC.The inclusion of signs added a personal touch, making it easy for everyone to navigate the space. The restrooms were well-maintained, and the overall setup contributed to the welcoming atmosphere. While there were some good food options, it was the drinks that truly stole the show. Black Walnut Brewery offers more than just beer, and the selection of drinks was exceptional. The bartenders demonstrated efficiency and skill, ensuring that our guests had a great time enjoying the various beverage options.Communication with the Black Walnut team was also great. Easy via email, from the initial planning stages to the day of the event, the staff was professional, friendly, and attentive to our needs and the needs of our guests. Unlike other venues, we were pleasantly surprised that we weren't charged for the space. This gesture allowed us to focus on creating a welcoming environment and ensured that our guests could fully partake in the fantastic drinks Black Walnut has to offer. Our wedding welcome party at Black Walnut Brewery was a truly memorable experience, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. We wholeheartedly recommend Black Walnut Brewery to anyone seeking a welcoming, accommodating, and downright fun venue for their special events. Thank you, Black Walnut, for contributing to the success of our welcome party!

Wild Hare Cider Cabin
106 A South St SE, LeesburgI loved this place! Very warm and inviting rustic setting. I don't care for ciders usually, I'm a beer drinker but I really enjoyed a couple of these. The Jalapiña was amazing, jalapeño and pineapple, yum. The food was delicious. Shrimp, pretzels and pizza is what we ordered. And the service was terrific. She was mindful of the temperature as well as the music level for the amount of people present. I appreciate all of these things. I'll definitely be going back with more friends.

Trinity House Café
101 E Market St, LeesburgStopped in for breakfast and caffeine one morning at Trinity House Cafe & Market. Parking can be a bit of a challenge here. There is no parking in front of the business. There is parking around back and down the hill in a public lot - which requires a short walk back up the hill. Trinity House Cafe is located in what looks like it used to be a residence. I ordered their version of Lox & Bagel and a small cold brew - with a splash of Half 'n Half. I sat in the front room to eat my Lox & Bagel. There are 6-7 small tables in this room. The Lox & Bagel was tasty - I wished they added more capers and fresh dill. The cold brew was excellent. Service was good. Paid with Apple Pay. #TrinityHouseCafeAndMarket

116 E Market St, LeesburgThis was a bit unusual in that it seemed several of the cats were long term residents. The place was clean. There were ample cat toys. The room was supervised. There were plenty of spaces to sit. There are stairs, so be aware of that if you cannot climb. I would suggest handing out a sheet explaining the adoption procedures. No one ever mentioned adoption. All in all a nice place.

Von Herrschaft Rottweilers
15423 James Monroe Hwy, LeesburgI bought my rott in 2021 he was born in the end of january litter and I picked him up in March 2021. I highly recommend Aaron to anyone. He is a great breeder I saw his kennels myself and met all his dogs when I went. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows what he’s talking about. I saw the countless trophies and pictures of AKC comps including when he was a judge and had many rotts judged. I told him exactly the temperament I wanted in a dog and that’s exactly what I got. He has been the best dog in the world. He has the temperament for a service dog which is rare and he’s extremely obedient. The bond my rott and I have is so rare to see. I am so thankful and hope to be able to purchase again when looking for another rottie.
