The trail leads to and goes along the Potomac River. Such a beautiful sight. Well worth the hike. Recommended.

The parking lot can be tough to find in the dark, but the trail is nice. If you take a left on the main, it ends in about 1.5 miles. I've seen a number of bald eagles in that area. If you take a right you can go much further. It's a flat, easy trail.
