“I’ve been coming to Pitkins since the mid-70’s (as a kid with my dad) as I grew up a couple of “Dales” from here, in the B section. It’s extremely sad to see what has happened to Prince William County as a whole, especially what’s happened to Dale City – So many people living in the County and this area who don’t care about the roots of it, nor who value community, neighbors, and family like those who actually built and grew this community – But it’s great to see this place is still here!!!
Pitkins is a staple of the community!! They have the parts needed for nearly any “fix” needed for a house built by Hylton, or any of the other builders in Woodbridge, Dale City, Lake Ridge, or Manassas.
Their service is still very nice and the place resembles what it always has. They have specialty items, like Big Green Egg and it’s a great place to come for them! I’ll definitely continue to return!”

“I am a small business owner and have dealt with this place since day one. The people are friendly. The price is always right. You don't have to go through different people to try to get different deals like other Supply houses. They are straight up cut and dry and can get you the supplies you need. I highly recommend this place over the other supply houses in the area”
“A Harbor Freight store serving the Alexandria area was needed for a long time. Like any other HF, you will likely find anything at this store as you will at another HF and at great prices. My only complaint about this location is the parking lot, as this shopping plaza was built when the area wasn't so built up. Getting in or out of the lot during rush hour can be a wait, and on the weekends parking can be difficult due to the other businesses.”

“My 500 square foot family room carpet installation on 15 July 2024 was outstanding in every way! Christian and Maurice/Morris? were experienced, polished professionals with the old carpet/pad removal and new pad/carpet transition--meticulous clean up, too!
They were courteous, informative, and highly skilled with our many flooring power outlets, heat/A/C registers and step-down CUT-OUTS, and the required seam sealing for this large area remains absolutely invisible! They take pride in their work! I highly recommend Home Depot Fairfax for a pleasant carpet purchase experience from start to finish--no glitches! Thrilled!”

“Awesome place to buy what you need electrical. Both commercial and residential. Super friendly staff and very very knowledgeable. Quick to help with any and all of your needs. Even better knowing if they don't have it, they share store names of local places that will help. Check prices because they are even lower than Lowes and Home Depot. Just know when you buy here, you are buying local and moreso getting the best service for what you need. I was able to pick up some supplies for my RV here, too. I am very satisfied with Capitol Electric.”

The gentleman working yesterday 5.23 morning left the store to open the usps door open as I was carrying several boxes. If that's how they treat a stranger not even entering their store I can't imagine how excellent their customer service is. Thank you again sir!”
“I had a very great experience at this location thanks to Nick.. He was very knowledgeable and well spoken when explaining to me. Instead of just a trimmer helped me get a combo pack with a blower. Also assisted in helping me choose a grill that is perfect for my backyard.
Certainly will be back again. Talk to Nick if you need help with Outdoor Equipment or Grills. He's definitely the man to see with the professional service I received.”

I then checked online at Home Depot. They promised delivery in Three days! It was delivered, installed, the BestBuy broken fridge moved to my garage awaiting return. They took great care in not bumping walls and doors. The two men who delivered and installed did a fantastic job and were courteous and professional. I highly recommend them. What this experience taught me is that Home Depot knows and stocks appliances and Best Buy is just playing at it.”

In the short time I interacted with him, he was one of the nicest and most considerate people I’ve met in a long time. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming.
I’ve spent 20+ years in the restaurant business, from working in two Michelin-star establishments to even sports bars, and in that time I’ve interacted with millions of people. Because of that, I feel like I have a pretty good sense of when someone is showing genuine kindness versus forced customer service — and Jake is the real deal.
