I always check here first for general hardware supplies. While a small store, they surprise me with the abundant and varied supplies they do have on hand. Their friendly, knowledgable staff are always ready to help.
Today, I suddenly needed spray foam and spare keys. They had both.
Last week I needed window and door insulation, they had it.
Wood stain for furniture? Yep, they got it.
Car ice scraper? Yep, they have it.
I needed a special fuse for my electrical system. They didn’t have it. Nor did I expect them to have it. Yet looked just in case they might have it.
What a great addition to the neighborhood!”
“A Harbor Freight store serving the Alexandria area was needed for a long time. Like any other HF, you will likely find anything at this store as you will at another HF and at great prices. My only complaint about this location is the parking lot, as this shopping plaza was built when the area wasn't so built up. Getting in or out of the lot during rush hour can be a wait, and on the weekends parking can be difficult due to the other businesses.”

The gentleman working yesterday 5.23 morning left the store to open the usps door open as I was carrying several boxes. “I initially went to Ferguson's warehouse in Alexandria and a gentleman was very helpful and referred me to their showroom near Springfield for more selections.. I just purchased bathroom fixtures from the Springfield showroom which has an expansive display. Bernie is an exceptional salesperson!! He spent so much time explaining brand features and options and I am so appreciative.”

In the short time I interacted with him, he was one of the nicest and most considerate people I’ve met in a long time. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming.
I’ve spent 20+ years in the restaurant business, from working in two Michelin-star establishments to even sports bars, and in that time I’ve interacted with millions of people. Because of that, I feel like I have a pretty good sense of when someone is showing genuine kindness versus forced customer service — and Jake is the real deal.
His hospitality really stood out to me and it shouldn’t go unnoticed. He truly made my day and I really appreciate the way he treated me as a customer.

Yanci at Lowe’s was outstanding. The first dryer was severely defective—so loud the tech confirmed it needed to be returned. Without Yanci’s help, I would have canceled the purchase and gone to Home Depot. Her personal service is the only reason the situation was resolved satisfactorily. Good staff truly makes the difference.”
“Excellent experience shopping there today. A nice lady, if I remember correctly her name was Laura (but I do remember she is a district manager), was very helpful, very professional, gave me a lot of advice, it was a true pleasure talking to her.
But I must say all the staff was very polite, friendly and helpful, there was a large selection of different plants and other items for a garden and I left the store as a very satisfied customer. Thank you.”

“I just purchased a Weber grill from Village Hardware during a brief in-store visit. The salesperson was really helpful in process and set up assembly and free delivery for me. I called back to confirm that I would have the needed parts to attach the grill to my natural gas line and was assured that I would.Rick assembled and delivered the grill this morning. He had the extra adapter that I needed for hook-up. He took time to thoroughly explain functions and maintenance and answered all of my questions. He even shared a recipe.
