“Needed to get my fingerprints done for a volunteer opportunity with a Fairfax County school. The closest option to my home was Hanmi Post. The location is tucked in the rear from the Main Street. The hours were serviceable, convenient and plentiful. I was in the store for less than 5 minutes, I had a scheduled appointment for 10:00 a.m., and was walking out by 10:03 a.m. The gentleman working was very soft spoken, polite and courteous. Would recommend this location if you need fingerprints done. Enjoy!”

The -1 Star is for the temperature. It was freezing in there, same temperature like outside. Also The shipping forms was not stocked and labeled, so I had to stay in the like asking for a shipping form to fill it out afterwards and then to go back to the line to send off my package. Time consuming of 45min. But I wasn’t in the rush, just freezing ? and like i said, the stuff was very nice.”
“I visited this post office today for a new passport, I was helped by Sunisa. 2 yrs ago she also assisted me with my kids passports. She is always so friendly and provides the best customer service. I really appreciate her making the process so easy and pleasant. Thank you Sunisa for all you do!”
“We put a package in mail one evening and realized we forgot one part of the address so we went right to the post office the next morning and the store associate was kind enough to open the mail box and let us get our box and correct the error. He could've easily said he couldn't help us since there were people in line behind us, but he took care of the situation for us. So grateful. Thanks for caring.”

“Convenient, large parking lot, normal hours, pleasant employees and quick processing of transactions and positive interactions with the normal staff working the counter. You can get greeting cards as well displayed on a rack, USPS shipping supplies including envelopes and boxes for flat rate, stamps, stamped envelopes. Always smells clean, organized and easy to conduct business”
“So happy this is my local post office. After years of living in various places and dealing with mail workers who have not been friendly, this has been refreshing. Richard is always smiling and happy to help. The longest line I have dealt with was three people. I don’t dread mailing things.”

“2026 update - Good service and facilities here, 10 years later. No, still no automated machines, but USPS is now in the midst of hard times. I had no wait, the clerk was knowledgeable and attentive, and actually prompted me to request free tracking on the two packages I mailed. I just wish I'd comed a week earlier so I could have bought FOREVER stamps before the price when up to $0.82. Adding that fifth star bc I still don't understand the hate here.
[2016]Why all the hate? I visited one afternoon to buy stamps. The line was short, and the clerk went out of her way to show me stamps. There are no automated stamps vending machines in the lobby, and I'll wait for that before I add that fifth star.”
“I read a lot of the 1 star comments before posting my review because I was curious what was so horrible about this place. And wow do you people need to get a grip on reality.
Those complaining about the lunch time, one even saying they should add staff to rotate so its not closed for lunch, do you say that about doctors offices or other professions that go to lunch? Everyone deserves and is LEGALLY required to have a lunch break. If you dont like the hours, don't blame the location, call the main office and complain, it's them who set the time.
Those complaining that they are asked to leave at 5pm closing time, tell me this, do you leave your job at the end of your shift or do you stick around and continue working without being paid? They have a hard enough job as it is with people yelling at them all day for things out of their control, they have families and a life they'd like to get back to just like you.
Victoria, the older lady I see people complaining about, is a good caring woman. Every time she see's me she asks how my mother is doing and we have a nice little chat with smiles and laughter! Would you like to know why I get that treatment? Because I'm kind and understanding of her position, and the struggles of her job. Customer service is a rough job no matter the place, and if you do it long enough, you get tired of people's attitudes and harassments and start giving it back, so I don't blame her for how she treats some of you with the attitudes I'm reading you're giving her. Put yourself in others shoes before you judge!

“I had a really positive experience at this post office recently. I stopped by around late morning to ask about a piece of mail that had been missing for over a month, and the female staff at the counter were incredibly kind and helpful. The employee assisting me took the time to check in the back and speak with a manager to track it down.
Even though it took a little time, they kept me informed and assured me they would look into it further and follow up. Later that same day, my mail was personally delivered right to my apartment door, which I truly appreciated.
Everyone I interacted with was friendly, patient, and professional. The wait time was reasonable, and the level of care really stood out. I’m very grateful for their help and would definitely recommend this location.

“While this post office is always busy, they have three machines that you can self serve. I was able to buy tape, label the package, and put it in the dropbox. I didn’t have to wait in line and I was in and out in 10 minutes. At the self-serve machines you can buy stamps, buy products, and label your shipping with ease. If you’re able to read the prompts on the machines you should be in and out quickly.”
