The UPS store at Lorton Market St has wonderful customer service. I called needing 300 programs printed for a funeral with short notice. Sunny and his team immediately responded. Sunny even came in on his day off to make sure I had everything I needed when I needed 200 more printed last minute! I highly recommend this store.

Manager Sunny Shrestha, your operation violates Virginia code 47.1-19. Fees.
A. A notary may, for taking and certifying the acknowledgment of any writing, or administering and certifying an oath, or certifying affidavits and depositions of witnesses, or certifying that a copy of a document is a true copy thereof, charge a fee up to $10.
B. A notary may, for taking and certifying the acknowledgement of any electronic document, or administering and certifying an oath or affirmation, or certifying electronic affidavits and depositions of witnesses, or certifying that a copy of an electronic document is a true copy thereof, charge a fee not to exceed $25.
C. Any person appointed as a member of an electoral board or a general registrar shall be prohibited from collecting any fee as a notary during the time of such appointment. Any person appointed as a deputy registrar or officer of election shall be prohibited from collecting any fee as a notary for services relating to the administration of elections or the election laws.
D. It shall be unlawful for any notary to charge more than the fee established herein for any notarial act; however, a notary may recover, with the agreement of the person to be charged, any actual and reasonable expense of traveling to a place where a notarial act is to be performed if it is not the usual place in which the notary performs his office. They are operating the notary illegally. Today I was charged an extra $5 for them to put the seal on a document, making the charge $15 which is completely illegal in VA. It is not the 5 dollars, it is that they are robbing customers by charging them illegal fees. I would advise against doing any kind of business with this location as they may be robbing customers in other ways as well.
Charging an extra $5 fee for a true copy notarization of a document is in violation of this law, your refusal to issue a refund or to stop charging customers an illegal fee is completely unethical and leads to question what other illegal fees are you scamming your customers with.

The customer service at this UPS store is terrible. One of the cashiers identifies himself as Kevin. He told me that if he taped the return label, I would be charged. I told them that I had gone to Amazon Fresh and they did not charge me for that. Why would paying that much for a simple tape label make any sense? Upon my return, they inquired if the next door charged for tape. What level of rudeness and meanness does the cashier exhibit?

I went to this UPS Store to drop off an Amazon return and was surprised to be charged $1 for a single strip of tape, just a couple of inches long. It’s not about the dollar — that’s nothing — it’s about the principle. If you’re receiving an Amazon return and only need a tiny piece of tape, it should be part of the service, as other locations do.
I understand there may be internal policies, but charges like this leave a bad impression and make me less likely to return. Amazon should review its return policies and the third-party providers it chooses, to ensure a better customer experience.

There was a pretty long line when I went in, but the staff seemed to find the perfect balance between friendly (yet professional) conversation with speedy service. I felt appreciated the entire time I was there. I was mailing a *very* important package and the gentleman helping me, I believe his name was Keran, was incredibly accommodating. Easiest delivery service I've ever dealt with.

I rarely leave a review but on 04/28/2025 upon visiting UPS the employee Kiran was the worst employee i ever saw in a business place
i was dropping off a package and picking up one
first he said nothing after i said greetings no talking no eye contact he was just looking around then he just hand me the drop off receipt
when i said also i have a package to pick up he just left said nothing but there was a wonderful lady who noticed me and helped me
I mean i know everyone have problems I don’t expect people to be nice to me but at least do your job you are getting paid for that
I will drive hours to another locations but never coming back to this location i mean you pay them for service but you get insult in return
