Hours: Firebrick Pottery is a working pottery studio and shop in Lynchburg, VA. First time visitors found everyone very nice and willing to answer questions, and they will definitely be signing up for a class. One customer called it a nice pottery shop and loved a mug made by the talented owner, now their favorite for its perfect shape and weight. A group of girls had an AMAZING time and fell in love with the art of pottery. They took a class with Alex, who was patient and kind and made them feel comfortable. It was a genuinely nice, informative, and helpful experience. Another customer booked a private beginners class for a friend’s birthday and called it the best experience. Alex encouraged and guided them in the most helpful ways, was hilarious to joke with, and let them make the experience their own. They are already planning to come back with more friends. A first-time wheel user took the four-week course and found Alex an amazing teacher—patient, clear, and so encouraging. They learned so much they are now confidently throwing at home. Firebrick Pottery is a fun, welcoming experience and absolutely worth it.
