I recently switched from a consumer to a business account with the expectation of lowering my monthly bill, especially after dropping from six lines to five. I was told I’d save approximately $80 a month. I spent 5–6 hours in the store making the transition, which was frustrating but seemed worthwhile at the time if it meant long-term savings.
Unfortunately, my bill ended up increasing significantly instead. I’ve returned to the store multiple times (at least five), spoken with the store manager, and was told the issue would be escalated to the business account manager. Despite these efforts, I never received a follow-up. It took several weeks and persistent effort just to get a direct contact number for the business account manager—something that was not easily provided—and even then, I’ve yet to receive a return call.
This has been a deeply frustrating experience, and I feel misled and poorly supported throughout the process. I have documentation and recordings of my communications, and I sincerely hope the company takes this feedback seriously to prevent similar issues for others.
Will update the review if things improve or a resolution is reached. I hate writing bad reviews, but in this case I feel like I’ve been extremely patient and professional and it’s reached the point where something needed to be said.

Chante was professional and helpful when she sold my husband a bundle we didn’t need - she was very convincing. When I saw all that he had paid for, she had talked him into WiFi - we already have great WiFi! So we took everything back at once - turned in the 15 iphone for a 14, cords and a charger that went with the 15 iPhone and the Gateway WiFi. It has been since April 10 that everything was cut off and turned in but Verizon has sent 2 emails saying I need to turn in the Gateway or pay $200. When I went in to ask Chante where is the Gareway, she was rude, she spoke in front of 3 customers across the store. I had waited an hour and a half for her (she said it would be in a minute)…..then after over hearing my complaint to another worker….whom I told I was waiting on Chante - she started walking out the door - I said aren’t you going to talk to me - said For What? Rude and embarrassing for me. She said there are no receipts or return documentation for the Gateway…..that it is going to the warehouse….i asked for proof and she said is no proof that it was sent.Today I still don’t know where the tower is but I will never step foot in this store and have told friends, too…….Facebook, Verizon complaint form
Outcome: Corporate Owner of this store credited me $200…due to the fact Chante did in fact charge me $200 when she assured me there would be no charge. Thank you Vectra Verizon owners in Timberlake Lynchburg Va!!!

I will never go back to this Verizon store. The employees were very unprofessional and while attempting to help me, the employee was also using his own phone to text whoever and do personal business. I was there for an hour, and my simple request was not able to be done for whatever reason. Super inefficient customer service. Employees were arguing over who got to go on break first. I could go on and on. Moral of the story - don’t waste your time and go somewhere else.

Went to the corporate office on wards rd and was not helped. Needed a new phone switched. Went to a locally owned office on Timberlake rd and left a very satisfied customer!
