I recently visited Goodwill, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The store was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, which made shopping a breeze.
The overall vibe of the store was fantastic. It had just the right kind of energy you'd hope for in a Goodwill—positive, welcoming, and uplifting. Whether you're there to hunt for unique treasures or just browsing, the atmosphere adds to the enjoyment.
This location really embodies what I look for in a Goodwill. I'll definitely be back!

This has been my favorite Goodwill for as long as I can remember + I sing its praises far and wide! I came here the other day when I was visiting my hometown, and I realized I’d left my bracelet in the fitting room later that evening. I called the store, and the woman I spoke to was so kind. She tracked down my bracelet and found a way for me to get it before I had to leave town. So beyond gracious and gave me yet another reason to love this place!!

I love goodwill of central Virginia. This store however is not it. Very rude employee stocking shelves today. I had to ask her to repeat herself I couldn’t believe it the first time. I’ll think twice before coming back to this goodwill.

I was quite a regular shopper at this location and i'm becoming more and more annoyed about the high prices. A lot more items priced like retail and what's strange is that prices aren't consistent across all items. I've become frustrated while shopping due to the prices. I've attached photos of a pair of shoes that were priced at $20.99 that were in terrible condition. They even had a hole in them. It doesn't matter what the brand is if they're that beat up. Please consider re-evaluating the way items are priced. As a thrift store, I'd expect prices to be a bit more affordable and budget-friendly. And honestly, this is all across the Goodwill stores lately. I appreciate the work that Goodwill does to support the community, but the overpriced items have strayed me away to other thrift stores

Rude manager and employeesI have donated here since opening.Had an item with 3 stickers on it and was told "probably " someone put the wrong price on it. 2 tags were for 16 one for 8. As I said to them that's not my problem. At the short pump location earlier a customer had the same problem and i heard the manager took responsibility and sold it for the sale price. This store took a manager a pricing person and a sales associate all to say nope.They acted as if I put the sale sticker on. Unbelievable and she's a manager???I guess the goodwill is not in the business of happy customers. Will not shop, donate and encourage all to not round up.

After 50+ years we had accumulated a lot of items that perhaps others could use. Took a couple of boxes to Goodwill on Gay Avenue only to see the boxes being thrown in the trash before I could even leave the immediate area. Never again.

I was disappointed when I visited this Goodwill recently and noticed that the prices have increased dramatically. Secondhand DONATED items are supposed to be reasonably priced, but it seems like Goodwill is no longer honoring that principle. I used to find great deals on clothing and household items, but now I can't justify buying something at this Goodwill when I can get it brand new for the same price or even cheaper elsewhere. It's a shame because I used to love supporting their mission and helping their cause, but now it's not worth it. I hope they reconsider their pricing strategy because I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling this way.
