“I cannot say enough good things about art factory! My son loves taking classes here. He is on the spectrum and has a stutter and everyone has been kind, patient and welcoming which is something he always worries about. He raved about the writing class with Kay and it taught him so much. He was surprised the front desk staff remember him for his second class and this is one of his happy places. Art Factory provides such a valuable outlet for kids who may not take the route of sports or something offered in schools. I love supporting this place and am so happy they are here for kids like my son. The classes are affordable and its an easy location to get to. Wonderful place!”

“I donated some stuff today. They were a lot more picky on what they would take than I thought. Only bring stuff ready to sell. I would've liked to donate the carpets and curtains that I brought versus take them to the trash dump.
They needed to be washed before sale and apparently they were not interested even though they were nice”

“Medical Missionaries is a true blessing to people both locally and globally.
As a home care occupational therapist, insurance often doesn't cover some of the things people need, such as shower seats or even commode seats. I have been able to get items to give to those who need them, such as shower seats, tub benches, wheelchairs, walkers, rollators, canes and much more.
The items are always clean and in good shape to give to somebody else.
Medical missionary has a strong sense of serving the community, and this is seen by how last year they brought things down to help those who are suffering due to that hurricane in North Carolina. And every month they deliver food to Grundy, Virginia and they do special efforts to make the holidays meaningful for those who live there and are in need.”

“I will hold this place close to my heart until my dying breath. I was a pregnant, terrified, sick, young girl trying desperately to make it through the day. I looked up abortion clinics and found this place and called. The most compassionate angel I’ve ever met to this day was the caring and nurturing concerned voice on the other end of the phone. She asked me what I was sick with and I told her, she had just so happened to have hyperemisis during her pregnancy too. She tried to give me suggestions of things I could eat that were easier coming back up. She knew nothing would stay down. She offered to bring me food that would help and I hung up on her scared. She called me back. She met me to talk. She took me for my first ultrasound. She took me to my doctors appts. She met me at the emergency room when I had to go. And when my sons father left me to die pregnant in a hospital being fed through my arms at 80lbs she got me a hotel and later some housing. She helped me with a crib and clothes a d resources. And I’m thankful beyond words today, to say that I have a 12 year old son who is every bit my entire world. I don’t know where I would be without him. This place saved my baby boy, and in turn they saved me. I owe them everything. I highly recommend that if you’re considering an abortion, just talk to these women. I had my mind made up too. And the mere thought of not having my son for these past 12 beautiful memory filled years, brings my heart into my stomach. Just call and talk to them. You never know who can save you and your baby. I was hospitalized the entire months of my pregnancy. It was hell. But I made it!! And so did my baby. You and your baby can too❣️”

Mr.Marcus who has joined for the summer has also put a big impact on my son.. my son really enjoyed having him as a teacher and we hope he will return next summer..
Ms.Stephanie has built a bond with my son from day one he has become very close with her she is always there for him when he’s having a hard time..

“This place is awesome. The staff at dropoff are extremely friendly and will meet you outside regardless of weather. It has an easy pull up area which is covered and they help you unload.

When my son recently left his expensive jacket in one of the bags I dropped off, the staff went through a lot of bins within the hour and found it, and returned it to me. I was shocked. It’s easier for them to just say that it was donated, etc but they were so kind about it. The manager, Genai (sp?) was lovely as well and offered to keep it in her office so I could take my time coming back to get it. What a wonderful crew!”
