“I LOVE this hotel! It has on site laundry, nice rooms, nice tvs, and friendly staff!Rooms: Rooms are nice, not a bad size room either. The shower pressure is absolutely on point, HUGE bathroom, and love the giant picture window!Walkability: The location makes walking a breeze! Slight incline/decline depending on which way you go but nearly flat! Walmart, ollies, dollar tree, and much more within a 10 minute walk!”

“Absolutely best staff, me and my wife completely totalled out our van in an accident and ended up there, could not find a taxi/uber/lift..nothing!....then the wonderful receptionist mark and another employee Ron offered to help and ended up driving over an hour away to pick up a rental.....God bless every one at the hotel,,,...amazing staff...thank you again Ron and MarkNoteworthy details: Staff is amazingly kind friendly and helpful...the best!!!”
“When I booked our stay in Marion, I had no idea there was a chili cook-off/street party that night. But our rooms at the General Francis Marion Hotel were away from the noise. We still ventured downstairs to check out the festivities, but ended up having some delicious cake at The Swamp Fox.
The next morning, we explored the common rooms upstairs from the lobby. We found an old telephone operator switchboard that sparked memories from my mother-in-law who operated one in her youth!
This would be a great venue for a wedding or other event.”
