The Whole Ox is an amazing local butcher and a delicious stop. It has been the best for over ten years. The sourcing cannot be matched for steaks, chicken, and more. It offers fresh meats, vegetables, wine, and beer. The food is outstanding, with the best burger in all of Virginia. The fried chicken sandwich, grilled cheese, and curry chicken salad are thick, hearty, and delicious. The hospitality is unmatched. It is busy with locals and provides high quality stuff.
Great burger! Staff was very helpful with picking out lunch options. They have a lot of higher end grocery products and meats. They also have many premade options in their freezer section. It’s a cute market/lunch spot.
