I had been wanting to sample Malin + Goetz fragrances for a while and finally found myself near Tysons! I asked an associate in the beauty section if they had Malin + Goetz and she said no and that it was probably online only. However, I later found that they *did* carry it in store, it was just in the men's section. I sampled one of the fragrances, but the other one had a completely empty tester bottle. When I asked an associate, he said that it would take hours to get approval to start another bottle as a tester. It's disappointing that Nordstrom employees are not knowledgeable about brands their store carries and are not empowered to make customer focused decisions. I ended up going to Bloomingdale's—they had a tester!

Nordstrom Tysons customer service continues to disappoint. Great sales people and in store stylists so it is a shame their hard work gets degraded by in-store return an pick up process.

The best part about it was the Kiehl’s make up department. They were genuinely the nicest people there. I bought a lot of nice stuff there.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Nordstrom Tysons Corner location, specifically in the Order Pickup department on the first floor. I was helped by an employee named Heather, and the level of customer service I received was shockingly poor for a store with Nordstrom’s reputation.
Heather was on her phone the entire time while assisting me, which already set a negative tone. When she handed me the pickup bag, I immediately noticed the item I ordered was missing. I brought it to her attention right away—yet she offered no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. The entire interaction felt careless and unprofessional.
This kind of service is not what I expect from Nordstrom. It honestly felt no different than what you might encounter at a big-box retailer like Macy’s or Target—completely lacking the high-standard service Nordstrom once stood for.
I sincerely hope the general manager sees this and takes action. Proper training and accountability are clearly needed in this department to bring the customer experience back up to the standards loyal shoppers expect.

Terry in men’s shoes was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He helped my son with his sizing, discussed and demonstrated different lacing techniques, and made sure he was comfortable in his first pair of higher end dress shoes. In men’s clothing, Miles was very helpful finding dress shirt options for a slim physique that were in our price range. Thank you for providing a luxury shopping experience.
