“If I could have given this review more than five stars, I definitely would have. From the moment my daughter and now son-in-law walked into the Middleburg Barn, they knew that this was the place they wanted to get married. My daughter is a horseback rider and my son-in-law loves country living. I was hoping they would choose a venue that was elegant and where our guests would be comfortable. The Middleburg Barn checked all of those boxes. You will absolutely love Maureen, the owner, as we do. Always sweet and pleasant, she went above and beyond to accommodate a few special situations we encountered. She runs her business in a professional way, and is prompt in responding to emails and phone calls. The vendors we selected from her list of preferred vendors all did a fabulous job, too.I am so happy that we chose The Middleburg Barn, I recommend it to a friend, and her daughter will be having her wedding there, too.If you are looking for an elegant venue with rustic charm that is reasonably priced, this is the place for your wedding, too!”

“Little small town with vibrant friendly people. Very nice and interesting place for a early morning or late afternoon troll. Finest dinings and hang out. Much better than old town Alexandria VA. 30 miles away from Tysons VA”

“I was there recently with my husband and another couple, friends of ours for dinner. The place is gorgeous, and I would love to go back during the day to speak of the views, and I can only imagine they must be breathtaking.I can't speak of the rooms as we were at The Conservatory, not at the Inn.I feel like the road to get there needs more signs and more lighting, we had never been there, and driving up a windy road up the mountain at night was a little intimidatingOnce we found a parking spot, we didn't know which way to go as there were no signs, luckily one of the staff members was out getting something and we asked her and she kindly pointed us in the right direction. The young lady at the entrance is super refined and helpful. She walked us to The Conservatory. Once downstairs, the young lady at the front kiosk was super nice, took our coats, and led us to our table. Our waiter was trying his best. He still needed training, didn't introduce himself, and was a little short on his answers. My friend asked one of the staff ladies to get her the wine menu because she wanted a white wine to go with her meal and she kindly replied, I will have your waiter bring you the menu and the options we have.Several minutes later, there came our waiter with a bottle of wine and poured it for my friend. He didn't show her a list or anything. He just assumed that she wanted a glass of white, and he poured it... definitely needs trainingThe food itself was very good. We didn't choose from the Chef's special, as we wanted to try something different... appetizers were very tasty!I ordered the veal tammahock, cooked to perfection ; my husband ordered the tenderloin. It was very good, smaller than we thought, but the burst of flavor made up for it.Where I felt they fell short was on the desserts, not impressed on flavor and the presentation was just OK.Overall a 4 ???? out of 5 stars, assuming they will improve on the signage and exterior illumination, train the waiters, and improve their dessert menu.”
