“I was so impressed with this market from the moment I walked in! Their collections and offerings, and unique items of such quality and taste were more impressive than almost any natural foods market I’ve ever been to in any city. It’s thoughtfully and attractively arranged and showcased, I could get lost looking at everything but was not overwhelmed at all, more like impressed and excited. The shop owner Rachel knows what she’s talking about and can likely order what you don’t find. She’s friendly and funny and it was an absolute delight to be there. Coming from Buffalo, NY I will stock up next time I drive through!”

“I make a stop at this little store every year when I visit the bluegrass valley. They are a great little store and very friendly and always have ready what I want. I love Bruce's maple syrup and get a years supply when I come through. I think I found them about 2016 when they were the Country Convenience Store and I changed my route to the Bluegrass Valley. In 2017 as knew them as the Bluegrass Merchantile and have visited every year since!!”

She asks for input on what I’d like to see, asks about, my family, and often offers treats to my daughter. Prices are fair and the selection of items is useful and eclectic.. especially considering the more rural location. Also, the best ham sandwiches in the county.”
