“Love the staff and manager. Very Friendly. She has worked hard on the appearance. She walked into a disaster as has really organized the store a lot....she has done a great job getting it to where it should be . Very helpful and friendly staff and I've walked right in there right at closing ( not paying attention )and nobody has made me feel unwanted, staff was still willing to help me with a smile.”
“For something small and quick this is a place. To stop and grab it most times they have just about everything that you need sometimes they don't but most times they do and the people are always friendly so that helps when they dont”
“The guy at the register had an attitude problem and was very slow. It's like he didn't even know how to work the machine.Update: they now have someone at the register so self checkout is an option instead of the only option. The person at the register was pleasant, competent, and had a much better attitude than I did when I wrote the first review about self checkout.”

“I like this $ General because its conveniently located in Montvale for if you just need to run and grab a few things and don't want to have to run all the way to Bedford or Bonsack Walmart just for a couple of items. They have a good selection of products as well. Pretty much anything that u could possibly need on a regular day, they have at a reasonable price. I also love their " Dot Deals", where a certain color dot is half off or BOGO, especially on the toys during X~Mas time. I like to buy my son items other places than just Wal-Mart so he has a variety of toys and not just the same old stuff over and over that Walmart has. Don't get me wrong, I like Walmarts toys as well, but once u have bought everything that is in your child's age range, gender and interests, they don't really get new stuff in, where as $ General does, and especially during X~Mas time.”
