“Dollar tree keeps raising the prices and when you compare a price per ounce for that product you can buy elsewhere. You know you're paying way too much so I'll stop shopping there. Primarily. Just pop in and who once a while maybe buy something plastic but other things are just cost us way too high. They have priced themselves out of the market”

“This is a plaza Dollar General so it is relatively limited on space but it is well designed and straight forward. It's clean, very little clutter. Items are well stocked as well. Did not interact with any staff though.”

“This is a bias review due to many reasons I will not comment on but I have seen this store go from a 2 to an 8. Every dollar tree is different and has different things so I have found a few prizes here. Parking is always available. Employees were friendly and working.”

“This is the best Dollar Tree located in Roanoke. It is always very clean. They sometimes have items that the other stored don't have in stock. I would rather drive all the way across town than to shop the other ones closet to me.”

“Wow, has this FAMILY DOLLAR, stepped up their game in All aspects in this store. Clean, neat, and stocked. You can actually push a cart through the store and pick up all your wants and needs. Might I, add the new young lady Kelly. who is Smiling and eager to help you find anything you need in the store. At,last I, feel like I can finally go back to picking up, and do shopping at my FAMILY DOLLAR STORE. P.S. In my opinion KELLY deserves a well deserved pat on the back,& a Raise. Way to go,Kelly! She's a keeper, FAMILY DOLLAR.”

“It was great and the cashier really knew what she was doing when it came to speed and efficiency. I didn't, however, appreciate the fact that the receipt wasn't given to me when i purchased a bunch of clearance items. I went in there twice, and she specifically asked me the first time if i wanted it, to which i said yes. I wasn't asked or given one wirh my transaction of a lot more clearance items, though. I was so super impressed with the skills of the girl working, that i didn't think to ask for one. Idk if everything rang up as it was marked to ring up as ....”

“I am currently in Roanoke to train some stores for my company. The Manager, Lynn. was awesome!! I needed to stock up on some supplies for myself and the local store that I am working at. Lynn was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of where I could locate everything that I needed. I was in a hurry so she assisted me so I could find things that I needed in a timely manner. Lynn was was so pleasant, helpful and kind and as a faithful Dollar General customer, I was very impressed on how neat and clean this store was. I actually complimented her on on the organization and cleanliness of this store, based on the bad experiences at other stores.Just before I left we had a quick chat. She is an extremely responsible manager and cares about the store and the customers. Dollar general needs more people Lynn!!”

“Each Dollar Tree is a reflection of the manager & staff. Some are well merchandised & some are n the floor. The area also has a lot to do w the shopablity of the store. They tend to have different selections at the different stores. Overall the pricing is good. You just have to know not everything they sell is a good deal. I do tend to shop certain Dollar trees more than others. I do watch the video's on line of people going in to preview the merchandise. It helps to know what to look for.”

1302 Jamison Ave SE, Roanoke VA 24013
“The store has really done a lot better over the past year. 2 years ago when I moved in the area this was the worst DG I have ever seen and I am pretty well traveled. Trash always outside, very rude employees, always out of stock, stuff just thrown around it was horrible. Thankfully someone decided it was time for a change and fixed it up nicely. Now if they can just get some good people that want to actually work and not steal or help people they know come in and steal it would be a great store for the location.”

3215 Williamson Rd, Roanoke VA 24012
“I shop at this Family Dollar on Williamson Rd quite often and I must say the store is much cleaner, organized and stocked more recently. They've also hired more help which is what I think the problem was before causing some disorganization but good job pulling it back together and you're appreciated!”
