“I moved in about five months ago and I must say I’m super happy with my decision. I looked around at about seven different places. I found myself needing to downsize but wanting to be comfortable and have all the amenities that this place offers. The other tenants that are in the complex make the best neighbors ever. Everyone tends to look out for one another everyone knows everybody and they are super friendly, informative and very inviting, they will remind you of all the events that are held and encourage you to attend. My move-in process was super easy start to finish. Lastly, I’d like to say that it is a very safe place and I have had issues. The property is well-maintained. If you want a little bit of luxury living at a good price, this is definitely your place.”

“I loved living at St. Andrews. It was my first time renting an apartment as a young adult, but luckily I found the best place in all of Newport News. The team at the office (Taylor and Nolan) along with the maintenance staff make community here genuinely so wonderful, safe, warm, professional, and joyful. The office maintains regular communication and you can tell that they care about their residents. I had a great apartment that was very quiet with zero issues. I also enjoyed the amenities (including the big gym with tons of equipment)! I found St. Andrews through Google, now I want to share my experience with everyone on just how amazing this apartment complex and entire community is. If I had stayed in NN, I wouldn't move anywhere else. This place is special.”

“I’ll give them 3 1/2 stars to four stars and the maintenance team is pretty quick and responsive however what is the biggest issue is with the trash.They refuse to get another trash dumpster.”

“I lived here for almost 2 years and absolutely loved it. I basically never saw any bugs, maintenance was always great about fixing issues, and I loved that they had an elevator for the buildings that had 4 floors. The only reason I left is because I’m military and it was my time to go. The only bad thing about this place is just when your neighbors smoke weed and it seems to seep into your apartment, but that’s pretty much everywhere and no one will ever be able to stop that. Would definitely live here again in a heartbeat!”

“I can only speak for myself, but me and my wife have had an all around good experience with our apartment/building. It’s possible we lucked out, and got great neighbors in our building, but we find that for the most part it’s a quiet and safe place to live for the cost (especially in Newport News.) Both of us really like Jasmine (the office worker) and greatly appreciate all of her efforts. She works very hard, and is kind, and has taken our concerns/issues seriously. which brings me to one thing I DON’T like about the complex currently: the workers are extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY, understaffed, to the point where it is detrimental for their employees and us as residents. Every-time I go to the office Jasmine is being BOMBARDED by tasks, complaints, etc, with no assistance or help. Other residents I know wait gratuitously prolonged periods for simple maintenance because only one tech is employed. This is a “higher up” issue, I have no qualms with Jasmine or Maintenance cause they can’t be 10 places at once. But with that being said, me and my wife have had a pleasant experience here, and we hope to stick around for the awhile. We greatly appreciate the staff, and their hard work”

“My experience at Sharps Landing/Pavilion has been pleasant. They supplied alot of my lively hood needs. Maintenance was great. Their hospitality and personal was great. My reason for leaving was only wanting to downsize to smaller unit. Anyone looking for a nice place to live with spacious closets check out Sharps Landing!!”

I had a problem with my rent payment and went in, Izzy and Ashanti were really helpful in clearing everything up and getting me up to speed. Tamika was welcoming and pleasant too!”

“The apartments are located right near city center in Newport news which makes it a great area to explore. Port Warrick is about a 15 minute walk and they host concerts and mini-festivals during the summer and spring. The only downside I would say is that some of the residents leave trash in the stairwells, which is only cleaned up by the residents and not staff.”
