“I joined during the $99 4 week promotion. Wasn't going to join because of the price point bit after seeing results, I was sold. I like not having to figure out what I want to workout, like I'd have to do if I went to a gym. It's been 2 months and I've lost 10 lbs. When I started I was only lifting 12-15 lbs. Now I'm doing 20-25!”

“George, the owner, is a fantastic gym manager that genuinely cares about his gym members. My family and I have done business with George since 2021, and he's even cut deals for me when I'm back in the area for two weeks on reserve duty every year. He even bought a few of the plates I had laying around when I sold my home gym. He's never tried to upsell us on anything, is very flexible with gym use (doesn't mind me lifting barefoot when I forget my shoes, doesn't have an issue with tripods to record my form) and even has a chalk box available. This gym is suitable for casual use on up to competitive powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and bodybuilding - and it's affordable, too.I highly recommend Fit Bodies Unlimited (all of their locations) and you will never regret doing business with George. He's a fantastic individual that runs an amazing business.”

“This is the best gym I've ever attended. Instructor lead classes focusing on strength and endurance. As someone not having been to the gym seriously in two decades, they have worked with me. All levels attend and everyone is welcoming. They work at your pace and make sure you are safe but busy. Love this place!”

“Would recommend 10/10. I joined the gym in my time being here for training with the Coast Guard and enjoyed it. Very friendly gym and will definitely miss the community.”

“I was down in the area for a few days for work and looking for a CrossFit not too far from the job site or hotel too drop in at, glad I found the time to get in at CrossFit Oyster Point! Sandi was above and beyond helpful with the drop in process and helping me exchange my shirt after I dropped in when I got the wrong size (I'm a large, I know I'm a large, no matter how big the large looks I am not a medium-and that's okay) and Bomba (sp?) ran a great and super friendly class, a little ice breaker but nothing too kitschy, and I even got to demo some movements for the class. When I was there they were doing Mayhem programming which made it even better as that's our programming at my home box so I could even log the same workouts as my crew back home. If/when I'm back in the area I'll definitely stop by again! Oh, and there was a dog in the class after mine-Maggie-very sweet, wants all the attention and belly rubs 11/10”

“Kids had a blast. They sold out of general admission for 5$ so we had to buy 10$ tickets, seats were more comfortable. Basketball action was fun we will be back!”

“G R E A T gym. Inclusive, affordable, flexible. Lots of schedule options. Options to work out with a group or individually. Family friendly. Lots of fun events throughout the year to get gym members, their families, and community members involved and connected.”

“Good gym, good equipment, great 24 hour access. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is music is typically way too loud. I’m all for loud music and understand the gyms vibe, but I can’t even overpower the gym music with my personal beats headphones.”

“Love working with Jo, I didn't think I could do it. She made me feel very comfortable and give me that push that I needed. I enjoy coming to workout. Thanks for seeing something inside of me. The ladies in my class are truly wonderful. Thank You JO”

“I personally prefer this facility over Anderson.Smaller, but not usually as busy. I prefer to look out the window from the cardio room instead of watching TV and staring at a wall. Less wait time between sets due to less people in the weight room. The basketball court here has been converted to a CrossFit room. This facility also offers 24 hour access to registered ID card holders as well.”

“It's awesome to live in a town where we have so many cool running options.Flat-Out does some interesting and fun races like the Chick-Fil-A and 5k on the Runway I did last weekend at the Newport News Airport. Really good. Flat and easy and squishy - good for a PR! They have the Richmond One City Marathon and Glowing Gobbler and others as well. Well done and easygoing races with lots of great faq emails in advance. Highly recommend if you wanna add to your medal bling.”

“For a gym I don't have to pay to use, it is adequate to meet almost all muscle group needs. Langley is better equipped but is usually more busy. Anderson is the main gym, has full basketball court, large cardio room, decent weight room, and saunas in both locker rooms.Pool schedule is terrible but other than that it's not planet fitness ?”

“THIS has been above and beyond a godsend, for my special needs son after school. The inclusion of the staff and the other youth is humbling and beautiful. Everyone is professional, and family oriented, and I could not have asked for better group for my son to be a part of. The other kids just run up to the staff as family, and they interact like family. That sense of safety and peace of mind as an on looking parent shows me how genuine they really are. My only regret, is not knowing about their services sooner.”

“Nice place but a lot of the staff there seem bored and don't really seem to care about their job. They have a good weight selection and cardio selection is good. The sauna in the men's locker room leaves a lot to be desired.”

“I have been a regular of this gym for six year. This gym has become my second family. Mrs.Petra does an amazing job at running this gym and keeps the moral of her staff at an all time high. My daughter loves this gym even more than I do. She begs me every day to go to the gym just so she can see her friends(the staff, especially Tristan). The employees are always eager to help me with every request and problem I tend to have. The trainers are always readily available to help correct any error of my form in such a conducive and positive way with out ever making me feel stupid or unexperienced. If I could give this gym 10 stars I would!”

“Nice gym, fairly clean, smells decent for a gym. I like that they keep cleaning supplies near all the equipment. Has a good amount of equipment. Gets pretty packed during peak hours which makes it hard to do your routine. If you’re flexible with the equipment you use then you’ll be fine during the park hours. Having classes as part of your membership is nice. There’s no basketball court if you’re into that. I love working with bosu balls and for some reason they can not keep those stocked, it went from like 6 on the rack to 1 deflated ball. Oh and read the contact before signing. You basically have to die to to get out of it. I already signed away my life so might as well use it.”

“With tons of construction going on around this place it is a maze to get in here, but out of a gauntlet of construction trucks emerges a decent parking lot and modern building called the Riverview Gymnastics Center. This is where Newport News Parks and Recreation offers affordable dance and gymnastics instruction. The gym seems fully equipped with everything a student would need to begin mastery of gymnastics. The class for 3 and 4 year olds has 2 very hands on instructors. Parents and observers sit outside the gymnasium and view through safety glass. The premises is staffed at entry and seems very clean and well managed. I imagine this is a hidden gem in Newport News for those who want to pursue dance or gymnastics instruction.”

“Love this location. It's spacious with a lot of machines. Bigger than the Hampton location and the employees usually provide good customer service, however the filtered water fountain needs to be repaired, it's been down for months now.”

“Best CrossFit, functional fitness, high-intensity gym in the area. I have hit PRs in all my power lifts, Olympic lifts, unbroken gymnastic movements, and everything in between even after 15 years of training. Enough about me; let me share what I have seen in this gym. If this sounds like you or falls somewhere in between, then stop by and see for yourself.Athletes aged 4 to 84, from never having touched a weight to experienced CrossFitters. I have seen athletes get their first pull-up, box jump, muscle-up, to athletes getting their 10th unbroken muscle-up, and hitting lifetime PRs in power and Olympic lifting. Athletes come here and pass firefighter, police, and military fitness tests. Athletes come for prehab and rehab from various surgeries. Adaptive athletes train next to everyone. Athletes up to nine months pregnant and just after birth train here. Coaches hold newborns so new parents can still train. Children hang out together in the kids' room while parents focus on themselves for 1 hour of their busy day. The coaches do the same program as the members and participate in class workouts. High school and collegiate athletes train here in the offseason. Coaches provide nutritional counseling and meal prepping for interested athletes. Athletes typically spend 3 to 10 hours a week here; just show up and commit to 1 hour at a time, you will not be disappointed. The athletes are part of a family and hang out together, seek advice/recommendations, and hold each other accountable. If you want to hit PRs, become a better athlete, or jump-start your health and fitness journey, then stop by and see if it’s a good fit.”
