The mechanics here do an awesome job, but sadly over the years the front end has made dealing with Pep Boys unbearable. The first time there was a problem, I made an appointment for a state inspection only to be told upon arrival that inspections are strictly first come, first serve-there was no more availability that day so I had to come back another day. Inconvenient, but I figured things happen sometimes and I decided to overlook it. The latest occurrence was scheduling an appointment for AC servicing and an oil change a week in advance, only to be told upon arrival there weren’t any AC Techs available on the weekend-then WHY was the appointment even scheduled?! Why wasn’t I made aware? They could have phoned, texted or even emailed to save me a worthless trip. To top it off the female at the front didn’t even have a courteous attitude about it-just matter of fact. I asked about rescheduling and she gruffly stated she “wasn’t going to reschedule until at least Wednesday of next week” but online there’s loads of availability on Monday and Tuesday? I don’t know what in the world is going on with the scheduling system here, but I cannot continue to waste my time if I cannot even get my car taken care of despite having scheduled appointments!

Asked for tires and rims I brought to be put on as well as a coolant hose to be done got charged 130$ for a 15$ hose. My tires never got mounted because of hub centric rings and I paid 440$ for them just to put the tires back in my car and send me on my way mind you I signed for 470$ including all the rims and tires be put on but I got charged for the having to remount my old tires back onto my car. I will not be bringing my car back to pep boys.

Everyone was so nice. While I was waiting, I received updates on the status of my repair. I told the mechanic I had a road trip coming up and they ensured that my car would be ready. Dave was very nice and always cracked jokes and told funny stories.

Had the car over a week each time saying it would be ready the next day, and still tried to charge over $700 to fix the work they messed up in the first place. Do not go here

They kept me informed the whole time, didn’t try to upsell anything, and genuinely looked out for me. Hard to find that kind of service these days—really appreciate the extra effort. Highly recommend!

I got an appointment for wheel alignment on the mid of the day on a weekday mid of the week. I guess it was the least busy time possible. I was there on time for the appointment, but it took 2.5hours to complete the work.
The quality of the work was fine.
The door for the restroom in the waiting area was not locking. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

Place has defiantly run down hill
I had a brake booster put on my 2015 Jeep two years ago I had to return serval times to get the brake lights off the dashboard overall that expience was good
This time around Excalty right after the part was out of warranty it went out again so I decided to make a conscious decision to have them replace it again they couldn’t find the part so I provided it this time
But right after getting my car back the rear brake lights were stuck on like someone was constantly touching the brakes an the car was making a Grinding sound we mentioned this soon as we picked the car up an requested the car be looked at again
An they said it was the vacuum pump that I quote on quote denied the first time which I looked at my paper work never seen it but I replaced the part at home still same issue
So I had to call corporate an they got involved an told them to fix whatever the issue was they returned the car yesterday with the same brake light on the dash an the rear lights on the trunk not working an said there’s nothing more they can do
Plus I have a message left on my mothers phone of them arranging a refund then the manger can be heard to telling her coworker to
(block her number because she calls to much)
So yeah I’ll never recommend this business just take the dealership route if you pay high labor cost at least have some certified techs -per manger mentioned she didn’t
An I don’t like doing reviews I take some things to the chin
but disrespecting my mother an not owing up to your short comings as a business as a company
As the manger they have in place just looks bad overall this story will be read thousands of times I hope to save someone from my headache

Do not go to this store to get your car repaired. This company charged me and didn’t do the repair and then passed the vehicle inspection. They state that they can not offer refunds anymore. Manager stated that I had to bring car back to verify car did not get repaired. Please becareful on taking your car hear ask for proof repairs were done. Again this place is a complete rip off and passes cars on inspections when they don’t do the work. When asked for the district manager to call me the manager stated “he’s not going to talk to you, that everything must go thru me”.

Pep boys will be my go to from now on. They explained everything up front. I came in for tires and I was so pleased to see that my low tire indicator light was finally off. They treat you like you matter as a customer.

Should shut down this business, left a nail in my tire as a reward for having no major issues during a state inspection. My second car has been in my driveway because i got a new car, all of a sudden i take the other car that hasnt been driven in MONTHS, tire pressure light is on and oh wow a nail in the tire. And they have you sign something so they can actually do their scam. Do not take your car here, if you do youre asking for problems.
