About Barry Robinson Center

The Barry Robinson Center is a residential center designed to meet each individual resident's needs to help them be ready for discharge back home. Its dedicated team of professionals provides a nurturing, supportive environment where children and teens can reach their treatment goals. The primary intervention model is evidence-based and success-oriented, incorporating relationship therapies with CBT and Trauma Informed Care practices. The center offers many expressive therapy opportunities including art therapy, music therapy, and recreational therapy, along with a wide range of activities and volunteer opportunities that set it apart. Support for the whole family is constant, and therapists are always available. Reviews note that the staff are amazing and committed, providing the support of a village. Families report that lives have been forever changed and express excitement for their child's future. While experiences include highs and lows, success comes from embracing the program and doing the work as a family, with the relationship with the staff counselor being critical. The unwavering support for families throughout the journey is deeply appreciated. Former residents also report benefiting greatly, learning a lot, and growing in many areas, recommending the facility. The consistent message is that change works when families and residents are willing to work through the process.
