Slover Library is a premier destination and multipurpose facility for residents, visitors, and the greater community. It is a beautiful and amazing downtown library with stunning architecture that mixes the old and new. The space is big and spans five stories. It provides an array of elegant venue spaces that can be booked for events like a wedding or graduation. The library is dedicated to celebrating tradition and innovation, offering dynamic historical resources, though some historical exhibits are closed on Mondays. It features a vast bibliography section, an amazing children's library, and colorful seeds to take for a garden. There are celebrated educational programs, classes, and monthly events to sign up for, ensuring there is always something fun going on. The second floor is great for kids and for parents to work, though it can be kinda loud near noisy children. The staff is friendly, and there are different parking lot options available. With its top-tier ambiance, it is a must visit and always makes for a good day.

The most beautiful library in Norfolk! When I got my library card, the staff were super kind and helpful. Love how it’s attached to selden market and have been in their venue space for an event as well. Clean and bright, a great place to visit.

This library is very dynsmic and beautiful. We celebrated a family reunion there and it is very spacious and the staff was very courrteous and heloful.
