I always go “FedEx” .., it’s not a choice!
I’ve seen UPS load their boxes from the pick-up locations. I will be surprised if any package isn’t delivered without holes, rips, or if internal… product broken, smashed, or broken.
FedEx is the only way as far as I’m concerned!

I had to ship out a single 107 lbs package. When I brought it to this location, I was astonished to find that there is no ramp. It was very difficult to pull a loaded cart up the wet staircase. There’s no way this location is accessible by wheelchair or ADA compliant. Staff were friendly once inside.
