“These guys were absolutely fantastic! They moved our store out of MacArthur Center, stored everything for a month and then moved it into our new store. They were on-time, fast, efficient, polite and they all seemed like they really enjoyed the work and made a great team. We had some very large and very heavy items and they handled it easily. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Locally and family owned! Nate and his team were phenomenal. They had my entire house loaded and unloaded in 2 hours. This included a flight of stairs and a stop at storage. A few days later, they discovered a set of keys in the back of the moving truck and Nate even dropped them off. Don’t waste your time looking for another moving company, give them a call. You won’t regret it!”

“Your staff are great - professional, fast, dependable, and always on time. One weekend they did the work of twenty with about seven people and five trucks. Between discarding some of our old furniture and file cabinets, to moving various items to our facilities in Portsmouth, Suffolk, and 19th Street, and delivering primary items to our new facilities, they did a great job (and a lot of this took place on a Saturday). They were always very careful when loading and unloading in our offices, there was no damage to walls or carpeting. Way to go!”

“Thank you, Norfolk Movers for very good job. We contacted this company after reading so many good things about them on the internet. On the move day the men came on time and were fully prepared. The piano was very well wrapped and handled. They had piano dollies, covers, tools and piano board. The whole move finished nicely with our piano hopefully in it s final resting place. A very well done job.”

“Good experience from beginning to end. Box packer was excellent. She was very experienced and everything reached our destination in perfect condition. Furniture packers, the same. Everything in great shape. While it seemed quite expensive, considering what it takes to travel cross country, I can’t complain about the cost. It was all handled very efficiently and professionally.”

Communication was clear throughout the process, and there were no surprises when it came to pricing—it was fair and reasonable for the level of service provided. Moving can be stressful, but they made the entire experience smooth and straightforward. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a long-distance move.”

“Smartbox saved my move after multiple companies informed me last minute that their capabilities would cause inconvenient modifications to my plans. Robert @ the Norfolk office killed it for us. The driver/delivery driver provided some of the best service by asking what I needed, stating any limitations he had and he didn’t hesitate to get the job done. Everything was on time and we had no damaged items.”

“We were told that the crew of 5 movers would be here between 8-10, they promptly arrived at 8:05 with 5 crew as promised. John was very professional and Julie was great too, everyone worked hard got our whole apartment packed up with careful attention to wrapping and packaging our delicate items. All done and in the truck by 4:30! We live on the 3rd floor with no elevator and no one even complained at all. Super great crew, bummer others have had other experiences but ours was great!”

“Utilized them back in September 2020 for PCS orders to Japan. They arrived between the two-hour window, but still apologized for tardiness. The two movers greeted me upon entry, as well as introduced themselves. They wore masks in my home. They carefully and strategically packed my belongings. I wish I remembered their names so I can personally give them praise, but it was so long ago and moving was so stressful that I completely forgot to leave this review. I wish I utilized this company for my HHG and not just my express items. When I received my belongings, everything was in the same condition as when I packed it. I would like to use this company for personal moves in the future!”
