Sail Nauticus is an outstanding and awesome organization that does a lot for the community. It offers a fantastic way to experience the area in the beautiful harbor marina. They provide terrific instruction from a knowledgeable and passionate crew, with courses like Basic Keelboat for everyone from beginners to expert-level sailors looking to sharpen their skills. It is also a great charity organization that teaches kids to sail. Teams can enjoy a great team building event with amazing instruction and takeaways. Guests can also join a weekly social sail for a delightful time with like minded sailors. It is a great organization to support for a beautiful and awesome experience.
A great downtown location, offering beautiful boats with colorful sails and great people. The program is well run, and there’s quite a bit of river to explore within the confines of where you’re allowed to sail. It almost makes you wonder about renaming Norfolk the “Vacation Village!

I have been a member of Sail Nauticus for over 10 years! It is a fantastic sailing center with a great community. There are opportunities everyday for everyone! Clinics races, social events, and leisurely sails all year! Come and enjoy sailing on the River!
