About The Salvation Army Kroc Center Hampton Roads
The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Hampton Roads is an arts, education, recreation, and worship facility in Norfolk, VA. It serves as a beacon of hope and a place of refuge for fellowship, spirituality, creativity, and wellness. The center is a great gym with a friendly atmosphere and friendly staff. The gym and equipment is great, with plenty of machines for a full workout. The center is beautiful with a track, basketball court, and great workout equipment. The pool is great, with a huge slide and a small water park for kids open on certain days. The children watch is better than most places, with a lot of toys and sometimes crafts or dance. Church service and prayer services create a welcoming ministry with sweet, nice people. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, and the classes are invigorating. It is an all around great place.
Also, must say that some of the negative comments are actually lies, especially the one about yhesauna smelling like marijuana smoke. Really??? I am in that sauna almost every day and it is clean through and through.
