I came in to purchase a priority mailer to mail passport renewal documents. The associate at the counter asked what I needed, I explained that I just needed to purchase a priority mailer to mail my documents. She stopped me and said I would need to see another associated because she doesn't handle passport appointments. I explained that I did not need a passport appointment, it was a renewal by mail, the only service I needed was to simply purchase the mailer and postage. She reiterated again "I don't do passports." And at this point I was very confused, I explained again I only needed to purchase a mailer. At that point she turned to the other associated and said "This girl just doesn't get it." And proceeded to sign out of the counter and walk away. Another associated approached and she was very helpful and nice and understood that I only needed to purchase a priority mailer. I asked her in case I misunderstood something why the initial employee refused transaction and she did not have a reason or idea either.The first associate was incredibly rude and unprofessional about the incident. I only needed to purchase a mailer and she refused. At no point did I take a harsh tone or raise my voice. I would expect better from a USPS employee.

Literally if I could give this place 0 stars I would. We made a passport appointment for our son on the usps website. We arrived with our 3 young children and the employee told us they canceled all appointments that day and that the lady called the people on the list to let them know. No one ever called to let us know. The employee was incredibly rude. When he gave us the place to go for salon appointments he gave us a big attitude about where to go (apparently it’s a civil court house not a usps so we were confused). We had a passport appointment last year with them and the lady working there last year was incredibly rude as well. I just want to let people know to avoid this usps with everything you can.

How many times can you deliver a package to the wrong address? Make your drivers READ the address correctly. You guys have a GPS. Why do we the customers gotta go fish for our packages. The manager at this branch is the worst. Shes no help at all. She doesn’t even care that this is happening. There is no corporate number to even make a complaint properly. Just sad.

*UPDATE* 10/16/23: As I expected, my fiancé walked into Debree Station for his previously scheduled passport appointment at 2pm and was told to go to the Norfolk Clerk's office. He was told they do not take appointments after 1:15pm, and apparently the passport agent is totally OFF on Thursdays. They did not text or call him, and all 7 calls I made to them went unanswered. According to the Norfolk Clerk's office, this has been an ongoing problem with this location for at LEAST the past year. Insane.I made two passport appointments (online) at this location, one of which was just a photo service for today at 2:30pm, the other for my partner next week for a new application for 2pm. This morning, I received the following text message, verbatim:"Good morning this is a debree Post Office ,texting you from a personal phone in regards to your passport appointment schedule after 1:30pm we do not have a passport agent schedule for that timeframe however, you can visit 150 Saint Pauls Blvd. where they're now excepting walk-ins from 8:45 AM to 4:45 PM Monday through Friday on the seventh floor. We apologize for this inconvenience. Have a wonderful day."I assume this person then blocked my number, as I received no response when texting back with questions and could not make a call to that number. I tried calling the phone number listed for the store itself, and to nobody's surprise I was never connected to a human being. It seems like they NEVER have anybody available for afternoon passport-related appointments, so I echo other reviewers in asking WHY they even make those times available in the scheduler in the first place. Outside of that, why wouldn't they at least reach out BEFORE the day of the appointment?! Common courtesy is not so common anymore, apparently. I will never attempt to give this location any of my business again, not that they seem to care much either way!

This is one of the most incompetent postal services in VA. I made a passport application appointment a week in advance. I received a text message the day of the appointment that the agent is unavailable. I called to get a better explanation of why the appointment was cancelled last minute. I was told the agent do not work beyond 1pm. Why are there appointments slots open beyond her work hours? Why do you only have 4 hours for passport applications! Why wasn't I notified in advance, so that I could have made other arrangements to have our passport application done elsewhere? I was bluntly told to go to the clerk's office if I needed to have my passport completed that day. I was so frustrated, and the customer service is the worst. I recommend going to the clerk's office in your city and avoid the postal services. They are unreliable and rude. This location needs to be closed down.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Made an appointment online 3 weeks ago and today when I arrived and stood waiting for 25 minutes someone finally remembered they cancelled all the appts for today. Wow! They said they called but somehow with multiple family members, multiple doctor offices, and various other peope who called me they were the ONLY ones that couldn't leave a message or actually call me. I know you were lying. I saw the guy with braids working on passport paperwork. He didn't feel like it today and I can understand it's Friday but you are the reason the post office is failing. You are the reason I choose other companies and it's the reason you will eventually get fired.

I went for my appointment which was made 1 week in advance for my passport and arrived 20 minutes early and they told me that the person doing passport appointments was leaving and that I have to go to Norfolk Civic Plaza. They asked me if I had received a text message with that cancelation and I did not. I feel like this was unreliable and why have availabiliy for times on the website if they are not going to honor that time of appointment.

If you need a passport, do NOT come here expecting people to know how to help you, or even what the fees are. Why on earth have a passport office when you can't staff it with someone who knows what forms to fill out or even how much it costs?!

I just moved to the area and needed to get a mailbox key printed. Ordered one on the 30th of December and was told it would take 5 business days. Came back on the 9th and it still was not printed. I’m not sure what the hold up is but it’s unacceptable. I cannot see important mail and bills because of this delay. Will always avoid this place in the future.Also the man I spoke to at the counter had earbuds in and kept making me repeat what I was saying without ever once thinking to remove his earbuds.

Extremely bad their service. I sent my IRS documents with tracking but it didn't update anymore. Contacted them several times, but they couldn't do anything for it.
