They only have 1 employee working at a time so waits can be quite long.
Ordered a new phone. Clearly the person ordered the wrong phone b/c in retrospect I can see in the shipping information that he ordered the wrong version of the phone from the get go. Next thing I know when I show up 2 days later I am being told when coming to pick up my phone: “well, you can either wait for 2 hours on the phone with me while I contact a call center to clear up your mistaken shipment, or you can take the pink phone instead”.
Utter nonsense.
Edit to review: ok, the employee was helpful after all of this was said & done. Honest mistake. I still think wait times can be hard for the average person due to only 1 employee at a time though as sometimes people can come in before you with issues that take a while to work out.

Didn’t feel welcomed and the wait time was ridiculous guy didn’t even know how to work his work tablet and had plenty of people walking out including me definitely won’t be returning to this location they are not knowledgeable and attentive at all

The employees here are so incredibly rude, and from the reviews here, seems like this is a consistent problem. They made me want to switch service providers. No one should shop here.

Worst possible customer service. Literally the worst attitude possible, Norfolks finest customer service right here. Heavy set African American 230pm Monday 04/29. Find some better people this is just sad.

Shawn Anderson was the best Verizon employee I have ever met. I was helped quickly and with such quality that not leaving a glowing review felt like a crime. Shawn Anderson helped every patron in the store personally, making each one feel like they were receiving world class service. Shawn Anderson's technical knowledge and expertise helped me feel informed about my decisions and saved me excess of 1,100 dollars. Shawn Anderson is the shining example for not just Verizon employees but every employee. I feel that Shawn Anderson is the backbone of the location he works at, and without him, the store would be severely hindered. If I owned a business, I would want every employee to be like Shawn Anderson.

I want to give a shout out to Danielle at the store on Little Creek in Norfolk, Virginia.She was extremely efficient, competent and helpful when I went in to transfer and buy a new plan/phone. I was amazed at how fast everything was finished. The next day I had to go back in due to a complicated error from my previous phone company, we faced a lot of problems, just trying to get my phone to receive texts and calls. The problem was not Verizon or Danielle, but rather the other company. It took about 1.5 hours to finally figure it out!Through it all Danielle was patient, unrelenting in trying to find a solution, and just overall a star!I hope the management sees what a fantastic employee they have in her. She has amazing talents, good people skills and a great attitude.
