“When people visit us at Lake Anna, they always ask us for best food recommendations and then grin in disbelief when we pull up to my favorite 'restaurant' on the Lake: the Elk Creek Country Store.... ten minutes later, after we've exchanged pleasantries with the amazing Holly and Terry and purchased my absolute favorites: fried FISH (Fridays!) and fried chicken and sides, they are blown away by the taste and freshness! The sundries and supplies sold there are also super useful (tackle, beer food stuffs, propane, firewood...), but the FOOD and the friendly service keep us coming back, week in and week out. Never thought I'd be a regular at country store lunch counter, but I'm here to say I am, loud and proud!

“This is the best staff of any buisness in the area hands down! Only complaint is somewhere in upper management I assume the chicken biscuit has been comprised and is no longer the same. Which before was the greatest breakfast of all time history. Now it’s just a regular pidly chicken biscuit.updated its gone?”
“Stopped was in a bit of rush. Had an appointment. The cook too my order right away fixed two of the best hotdogs on a bun. Iv hat hotdogs before and let me tell you. They were the best. Better than going to the ball game dogs. The man gave me the bag. The lady at the register got me a tea and a bag of chips. I pulled out 12 ones thinks it be that much. But to my surprise 9 dollars and for cents and they lady pulled four cents for me. Thanks a bunch. Will be back.”

“Appears to be a newer store. Was very clean inside and restrooms are also clean. A lot better than the one at 2053 Huguenot Rd in Richmond VA. The management of the one in Richmond could learn a few things from the cleanliness of the store in Ruther Glen.”

“The cashier was very helpful and kind. I wasn't sure if the bathrooms were working, but they had a handmade sign by the register that it was out of order. They have fresh fruit and other healthier items at the front of the store.”

“This rating is for Todd specifically, not the rest of the pharmacy. I have refilled the exact prescription twice previously. I thought the higher dollar amount was because my deductible rolled over with the new year. Nope, Todd was the only one that caught onto the fact that my insurance was only covering one PILL per prescription, while I was paying out of pocket for the remaining 60 pills. Nobody else bothered to look into it. Thank you, Todd! You saved me $$!”

“One of the nicer Sheetz locations. My friend and I drive from NoVA to Busch Gardens probably 8 times a year and this is always the Sheetz we choose for a quick food pit stop.

“This is the best little store in this area. The food is great allways fresh and priced just right. The owners are so friendly and really respect there customers. They have a great variety of snacks drinks and ice cream. I come here often and tell people they have to try the steak and cheese.”
